頭先剛剛去完st.margaret second in,佢即時會俾張入學通知書,並叫你於10月23日前簽番去,如果唔簽既就當棄權!
頭先小學部個主任講番俾我地聽瑤瑤interview時既表現,而佢就真係講得出瑤瑤既強弱點,都幾勁!
我諗我好大 ...

Call them to get the answer. My son interviewed on 3 Oct. Actually, they didn't call me but I call them cause I can't stand waiting for the answer. I want to find the answer by myself. So, I call them this Monday.

The teacher is very pleased to tell you. So, take action immediately. No matter the news is good or not, you don't need to panic anymore.

係啊. 直接問佢地你個女有冇on 佢地既2nd int list or waiting list. 我覺得佢地係做事方式與其他學校唔同, 比較open, 一般學校都唔會講而叫係等信, 我有信心覺得佢地會講個result 比我聽, 同my 我仔仔講曬interview既過程比我聽, 答咗物, 答唔倒物, 我覺得我仔仔應該係有2nd in, 所以就膽粗粗打比學校. 事后我老公都話我太勇.

你既interview day都係遲我兩日, 得定唔得應該知. 不過, 冇論得唔得, 都要有心理準備, 因為係好驚家, 太剌激.

我個女係讀香港真光中學幼稚園既,雖然課程真係好淺,but真係train到我個女又樂觀又自信!英文一個星期先一堂,而家仲寫緊I AM A GIRL,連減數都未學,加數都係識1-10 ! 不過我從小都有同佢睇英文書,我諗都幾有用!

其實我最appreciate係個老師講得出佢interview講左d咩!佢話到俾我聽個女英文&數學表現好(but我個女連減數都唔識 ),但係中文&記憶就 ,不過佢地都覺得個女適合學校........

呢間學校咁新&無咩名氣,你地唔怕會將自己的仔女做白老鼠咩? 你地識唔識人在裏面讀呀? 校風如何呀?

我相信唔一定英文幼稚園先至有機會入st margaret, 我識得個媽咪讀屋村中文幼稚園舊年入了陳守仁, 有人讀st catXX, 都唔入唔到, 一來佢媽咪自細開始train up, 外面又有搵外籍老師教, 什麼小壯元, 小蜜蜂都比個小朋友參加, + home schooling,
一樣work架!

As I mentioned previously that I just known this school fr BK.  However, as I seen, it seems quite a lot of parents choose this school.  

If so, I want to apply now (coz I just applied two schools for my son).  Can somebody tell me if it still accept application form or the deadline has already passed?

Yes, u can still apply but they won't give u interview date yet.  My friends applied 2 weeks ago but as of today still nothing heard from the school on interview dates.  Since the school is already accepting kids, I think they r quite full.  They still take application cause they're not sure how many will give up at the end.  
For sure, they have confirmed list for parents to sign before "lucky draw" result.  But probably a large no. of parents still wait for "lucky draw" and results from St Paul Co-ed or DGS or more famous DSS/PS and give up St Marg's offer.

I'm glad my daughter is on their waiting list so I have this school as my backup until next Aug.  I'm waiting for the "1st round lucky draw"...

It's only $20- just to stay in line..., think about it.

Tks for your information.  我個女比較缺乏自信心, 不過今年巳經比上年好多了.  

我姑奶話我個女系細 b 所以系差 d ga la.  佢重suggest 我比個女 repeat 遲多年先再考小一.  不過我無考慮 repeat wor.  

連減數都未學,加數都係識1-10 --- 我個女都系呀.  英文寫緊 I am jumping, I am sleeping 咋.

我地兩公婆屋企有同個女講英文, 國話 ga. 不過個女唔系好肯同我地講.  除左學校每星期一堂外籍老師上的英文堂外,  我都有比個女每星期上英文班.  hm... 可能一個個小朋友啦, 我覺得阿女吸收語言比我想像中慢 d.  因為國語我個女講的麻麻咋. 不過最近班主任選佢有份訓練朗誦國語. 我同老公都嚇一跳. 我有問老師點解選我個女, 但系老師無講原因.   因為一星期 3 日要自己安排早 d 返學.  最後無辨法安排只好 give up.  可惜!

好似我個女, 問佢 interview 問物, 佢答我 "秘密, 唔話你知" :tongue: :tongue:   我成個呆晒.  

慢慢 "chor" 下佢, 先知小小問題.  但我無物信心阿女會 pass 啦.    anyway, 當一個 experiences la.  所以都會打去問啦, 等通知吧啦.

19th 會見 TSL , 希望阿女表現好 d 啦.

其實LANGUAGE係可以由任何人去TRAIN既,BUT我真係好希望個女既眼界可以放遠D,將來既小朋友應該唔會只係認識香港社會,而應該會著眼全球的變化!而且要有多方面既技能,來應付社會的需要! 我睇個BROCHURE時覺得呢間學校可以做到,BUT個校監在個SEMINAR太HARDSELL英文的重要性啦!我好擔心個女在呢度讀,除左英文好D之外就咩到唔得......

Thanks for your advice.  

I phoned St. Margaret today to ask if they still accept application forms.  However, the staff told me that application deadline was on 10 Oct.  It means already passed....wooo...

The staff also told me that they started arrange 2nd interview on both 22 and 23 Oct.  Then all places for P.1 will then be finalized by end Oct.

However, she also told me that I can wait until Dec coz once the lucky draw (1st round) annouced, then they may arrange 2nd phase application, but subject to how many places released out at that moment wor~

So to my own point, if some parents still not received notice for 2nd in, don't worry too much.  Just pick up the phone to ask them the status/result.
