Hello all,

This is Ian's mom,Irene. My son will be 2-yr-4-mo-old by the time he attends the N1 class at KCK. I am really concerned about the fact that there is still no safety belts installed in the school bus which my son will be riding eveyday starting this Sep 05.  As a result, I've been contacting Teacher So, whom in charge of school bus, serveral times in the past month regarding this issue. Encouragingly, teacher So responded quite positively and even told me that he is in the process of contacting two suppliers to find out what could be installed on the existing school buses in order to enhance the safeness of all children while riding the shcool bus. I hope he will get to deliver some positive news this Sunday.
Meanwhile, I would encourage all parents of KCK to raise your voices to shcool regarding the insufficient safety measure with the existing school buses. There should be safety belts installed in all seats to ensure that our kids's safety during bus rides are somewhat enhanced and statistics has shown that seat belts are certainly cruciall during car accidents.
Just think about the fact that seat belts are now a "must" for taxi rides and lots of mini buses are starting to install seat belts, shouldn't school buses not overlook the importance of seat belts?
