Lower and Upper Primary:
Cambridge International Primary Programme:
The International Section Years 1 – 13 follow the curriculum developed by CIE (Cambridge International Examinations).
In Years 1 to 6 the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) specifies the content in the core subjects of Mathematics, Sciences and English but for the other subjects (Art, PE, Music, PSHE, Information Communication Technology and Social Studies) that comprise our primary programme we use the broad curricular outline of the National Curriculum for England. These general specifications are used by the International Section to develop a programme of studies unique to the Korean International School. For Social Studies at Key Stage 2, we use the specifications of the National Curriculum to design a curriculum based on the Asian context in which we live. The additional languages on offer to students are Mandarin and Korean.
