排名要睇下個出排名既機構係計d乜，因有d今有啲會計埋男女生比例，大學总面積这類与學术冇关的因素。
如不理，只想睇排名，咁THE, QS, 同ARWU香港政府会承認多d。
THE 2023: Man > Soton
QS 2022： Man > Soton
ARWU 2022: Soton > Man
用懶人包的角度來看, Man 似乎好Soton

不會吧! soton 比較實力派啲( 看他們入學條件頗高)。亞洲面孔都多的。Man U出名在computer science。soton 出名在電子。行內都有啲地位的。

以前同事多來自中大電子, 其餘香港英美加畢業的也不少.
以前HKU (2大年代) 同Cambridge畢業生科研能力差不多。3大年代畢業的, 較喜歡UST.
Electronic Engineering, 如果唔係 Cambridge, Caltech, IC, MIT, UC Berkeley 等等畢業，其餘都無乜特別. Manchester, Southampton, UCL唔會有乜野光環

IT行業好大，如其它行業一样，会有好多成功例子，但不成功或发展一般的会是更多更多。所以发展一般而决定早d轉行可能更是明智决定。
乜野名牌大学，乜野F500什致F50公司，都係錦上添花，係個人发展的工具，最终，最緊要都係要睇自己。
入倒Cambridge緊係入啦，但入唔到又绝对唔代佢冇料，將來一定差过cambridge果位。
正如Cambridge d教授，保正唔係全部cambridge教出泥，更保正唔喺全部top100大學教出泥，但佢地绝对唔係冇料

我諗大家都捉唔到個重點（同其他無數個英國乜U vs 物U post一樣），因為其實個重點係報UCAS嘅策略。
我諗冇人唔知牛劍G5大學最好reputation最高，其實講多都無謂。問題係正常人都唔會將G5大學塞晒喺UCAS五個choice，因為唔係集郵儲CO。
以EE為例，就當大部份人瞌埋眼揀咗牛／劍同ICL為兩個選擇喇，咁都仲有三個choice呀？嗰啲冇理由又揀UCL喇啩？因為UCL出嘅CO多數唔會同ICL差太遠，如果兩間都有offer，都係會揀ICL讀，咁就算UCL有CO都唔會用嚟做insurance。（兩間CO差不多，咁失手就兩間都入唔到...）
所以正常邏輯係另外嗰三個choice會揀啲次一線，會出低啲嘅CO嘅大學嚟做保險。而因為真係有機會會要入讀呢啲大學，所以大學排名同科排名同樣重要（尤其係想係嗰科發展，或者想留英發展）。所以呢啲Manchester vs Southampton vs Bristol類嘅post都有佢嘅用處，但係一味話梗係牛劍G5最好（阿媽係女人）就幫唔到出帖嘅家長喇。
其實Southampton喺英國係出名EE強嘅學校，如果有心喺呢行發展，係一個好嘅選擇。如果已經揀咗一兩間G5大學，不妨加Southampton做5個choice其中一個，有CO可以用嚟做insurance。如果唔揀G5大學，我認為更加應該考慮。

如果佢唔係叫UCL, 真係会唔会佢係學店, 但原來佢係我覺得真中一間最好的大學, 特別响Neuroscience and Brain science方面, 真係利害...
以前成日話USA成功張大學教育產業化, 但原UK不知不覺己張英国大學产業化得更進一步, 美国我地時常放在口邊的名校神校, Intl student比例都达不到30%, UK这边反而越有名, 越神级, Intl student比例越高, 間間都 >= 50%.
其实>50%係Intl student好处係乜, 唔好处又係乜呢?
如果係boarding school, 應該intl student 比例少d好d, 係咪呢?
