各位媽咪:
本人很想知道, Maryknoll是活動教育或填鴨, 壓力是否很大,
同學之间的競爭是否也很激烈. 另 St.Mary 是否比 Maryknoll輕鬆, 請各位媽咪給意見, 謝謝.

can you name any traditional prestigious schools who are 活動教育? the top ones are mostly 填鴨, even DGS, Maryknoll, DBS La Salle! But the graduates are quite successful and excel in different fields (not necessarily in government posts). On average prestigious schools are an advantage, at least you know the students are well-behaved and really workhard to study to acheive their best.

我唔係Maryknoll/St.Mary家長，
不過我有個補習學生讀Maryknoll.

我覺得呢間學校係米大壓力，
就視乎個小朋友本身o既資質。

老實講，如果個小朋友係好tough，
佢讀邊間學校都冇大問題；
相反，如果成績一般or比較差o既，
就真係會讀得好辛苦啦！

謝謝你們的資料, 但我相信要入讀這些傳統的名校, 除非好彩搞珠入到或有足够的分數, 否則根本就沒有任伺途徑可以入.
即使搞唔到, 想插班, 我相信是沒有機會的.

For your information, there is not many homework for Maryknoll.
Also I know a friend's daughter who wrote letter to Maryknoll, took an examation last July and now she is studying primary 2 in Maryknoll. But bear in mind, she was the first in her class in Primary 1 of St Francis of Assissi English Primary School.

Sorry, I don't know exactly but there are altogether 2 new primary 2 students new year. They had an examination in mid July and informed her by end of July. As I know depending on the vacancy available, the school will inform all those interested to take an entry examination in 3 subjects (Maths, Chinese Language and General English). Although they teach Maths in english, the Maths exam paper is in chinese in order to suit the examiners.
