i agree slow to warm up is indication of cautiousness and being observant. I appreciate all that my daughter has to offer and I think she is a great candidate for most schools as she is flexible and capable. It's just that often in a short interview procedure very often these great qualities do not show through. I'm sure all that get selected by Mrs Dai would suit the school. But I also think many who don't get selected are also very suitable candidates, but luck wasn't with them during this selection process. Yes they'll fare well in other schools too, but as parents who have chosen dgjs to apply to, certain believe in the special qualities and teaching that this school offers, and we would get disappointed when our girls are not picked. Not that it proves them inadequate in any way, but it's the knowing that they can't be educated here that would disappoint us.
Our girls can't be perfect in every way, but they are our precious ones and perfect to us in every way. Good luck to all! |
