Re: 他們不是精神病----出自"温暖人間" 21-9-2006
HayBMum,
The assistant (nurse) told me that in order to perform the best effect, treatments need to be made three times a week (cannot be consecutive days, ie. either Mon, Wed, Fri or Tue, Thur & Sat, as they do not open on Sundays). 3 months is a start, I think, and 6 months can see better if any improvement, just like when we try bio-medical approach, we do not expect to see significant changes if we take only for a month or two!
Also, according to the nurse, Dr. Lee will first do an assessment on the kid and ask parents questions about the kid (if the kid cannot carry out tasks). Subsequent treatments (half an hour each time) will be done either by doctor or by the nurse depending which area e.g. if it's computer part, the nurse said it will be her duty.
This is all what I got from the nurse and hope this gives you more information.
As fas as I know, the doctor's schedule is quite packed as he also has adult patients.
