Why the school cancel Halloween Celebration these years?

I remembered that when my son just entered into this school, they had lovely celebration of Halloween, don't understand why they cancell the celebration?

扮鬼扮馬去"celebrate"鬼節, 有d家長都唔會鐘意, 可能校方收太多投訴, 所以cancel佢好過啦。

btw, 我都唔鐘意呢d節都要慶祝, 不過我又唔會選擇投訴, 但我唔會比我小朋友參與囉。一比佢地去玩埋一分, 下次農曆七月十四又要我幫佢搽埋塊面咁點算呀

I hope the school will resume the celebration, together with quite a lots of parents and kids of this school really love this lovely celebrations in the past, we have really good memories on Halloween, especially when the school got quite a lots of mixed couples, children from other cultures.

Not sure if this is relate to the new management team? before that, the celebrations are quite diverse and really funny and lovely, which kids love them!!

呢個我仔小一時都已經停辦了, 我都唔知係唔係因為新management team啦。

不過我想問下, 唔想參與得唔得架? 到時著返校服/便服又得唔得? 會唔會有party架? 唔join得唔得?

as the incident has been stopped for few years, nobody know what will be happening. Should ask Mr. Principal.

大家都知某些宗教係唔慶祝萬聖節,  可能學校選擇宗教中立啦 (只屬個人估計)。

many schools are still celebrating, i hope all kinds of values will be respected in this "multi-cultural" environment, that's what we choose this school at the first begining, where the school should have understand the essence of multicultrual inclusiveness!!

其實扮鬼扮馬幾好玩, 同同學家長討論上網找到什麼打扮化妝靈感,  都好懷念.  唔知將來會唔會有返?

Hi YYpapa,

If your guess is right, I feel sad for this school, this is a really hypocratic reason to be "neutural" especially when certain kind of religious "interest" group is being formed without addressing others..

isn't that inconsistent?

本人為＂中＂教人士，I agree that kids could  really have fun on Halloween day!!!
So could the patents!!! 

Too bad they cancel it....

My preference :  Halloween !!

It was fun to see how the teachers dressed !!

And the kids had competitions re 扮鬼扮馬, + parent-child 親子competition !!
and the kids could wear their own clothes instead of uniform
.................


miss this fun activity in school !!

maybe it is solely because the 1st term test to be started 28/10....so Halloween....
