呢個8年一條龍上，完成博士

正常8年要完成博士，都唔係咁易，有些學生想繼續博士學位，但搵唔到師父，要兜兜轉轉

如果这八年是committed, 即一定要讀足八年, 咁我建意大家要3思, 唔係一定唔好, 但要冧冧, 个同学自己係咪真係知自已鈡意d乜. Why?

头4年, 相當於bachelor, 基本上是学野, professor教乜就学乜, 但尾4年, 係research, 係創做資識, 而Math的範圍之大, 我可以好肯定咁講, 地球上, 没有一間U可以每一數学埋论都係#1, 不管你是牛劍定係Harvard/MIT. 如果讀了头4年后, 發現自己的兴趣, 都不是中大清華的强項，邱成桐也不会是所有數学领域都攞nobel prize, 咁為有去外面的U找指導老師, 如果必定只可繼續留下讀足8年, 咁肯定不是一件好事.

但當然, 位同学中学畢業后, 已知自己PhD的研究方向, 兼且又是中大清華的research强项, 咁當然ok. 但这可能性, 係非常小.

通常資優生都係一條根， 做研究睇吓係咪開正自己鐘意嘅範疇。

真心喜歡就可以讀，時間上8年拿個博士也划算。
不喜歡硬讀那就要崩潰，想想八年和一堆數字符號打交道是什麼感受。總有一些人與眾不同，坐得住冷板凳，有認識一位朋友，生物醫學專業，博士畢業後，還繼續讀了八年博士後，然後才去一所大學做了個教授。

如果真的喜歡做數學，絕對是好事，導師團隊強大。不過萬一讀到中間想換跑道怎麼辦，中學數學的學習和博士期間做研究還是有很大不同的
