有親人住Lancashire附近附近大學只有2間
分別是Lancaster Universityty及 University of Central Lancashire
其實當然是選Lancaster U
但兒子成績predict grade all 2,
foundation選 Lancaster U的話, 怕升year one比較因難
想請教UCLan是否差的大學, 不值得入讀 ??

The University of Central Lancashire can begin dropping the word ‘central’

The Office for Students (OfS) has given its approval for the University of Central Lancashire to officially change its name to the University of Lancashire.

Although the University of Lancashire is officially the institution’s new name, visible changes will be incremental over the coming year and the transition is considerate and in line with the student recruitment cycle.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Baldwin said: “Changing our name to the University of Lancashire better reflects our regional economic importance and will aid continuing efforts to raise brand awareness further afield.

“Attracting more people to live and study in the North West is an important strategic objective we share with local government. Changing our name allows us to better cement our brand position and build on our recruitment efforts both nationally and internationally.”

Foundation 升 Y1 比率可問大學
Lancashire 如讀專業課程可考慮

UClan一向排名好低。

仲有無其他offer? 真係用“有親友住附近”而局限左兒子選擇？

all grades估計只有“2”，係麻煩一點，應付foundation course都可能辛苦。不過，勤力發奮去讀，讀得到嘅，大有人左。加油。

Lancater U=> foundation Entry of year one
overall grade 60% & English 60% (50% min in each skill) & Maths 40% or above
沒有信心兒子可以避達到

U of Lancashire
sport science不是專科的

所以都好煩惱

兒子覺得有親人在附近感覺上有安全感我自己對他沒有好大信心
覺得他讀完foundation未必升到year one
所以選排名無咁高的大學可以容易升班

明白，理解。
如果比我揀，知自己仔情況，我估我都會揀間要求無甘高嘅，希望穩穩陣陣升班。

另外一提，University of Lancashire位於Preston，不是在Lancaster，你知？

估計DSE只能攞全2，有無考慮過在香港讀副學位課程？

多謝你提及UA92，我一直都知曼城有4間學府，原來仲有UA92。我睇一睇資料，幾有趣。

University Academy 92

Sports and Exercise Science BSc (Hons)

好耐冇見今年6月準備畢業之前因為太忙嘅關係所以好少上水(emoji)‍↕️.今年終於Year 3畢業. 其實Sport Science 出路好闊最大路就係坐喺Lab到分析運動員嘅數據或者去讀Master. 如果Master 想讀番專科嘅話可以轉去讀物理治療（Physiotherapy)或者營養學（Dietetics) 但依兩個都要讀預注冊嘅課程（Pre-Registered). Pre- Registered Course 係比D first degree 唔係讀尼2 個course 嘅人去讀而且未來想讀返有專業資格就一定要揀讀MSC (Pre-Registered)仲有佢哋係要讀2 年因為包咗placement.

UA92 係好少人知人數好少好正常因為佢讀嘅嘢比較冷門(雖然我識一個香港人喺入邊讀緊)但係佢係同Lancaster University 一齊開

Manchester 仲有一間學校叫UCFB （University Campus of Football Business),尼間更少人知我都剩係識一個香港人喺度讀
佢degree awarded by UEL(University of East London)佢啲Course 全部同足球有關係（Eg. Football Coaching and Management,Sport Business Coaching etc) btw 佢有兩個校舍一個喺London 一個喺Manchester
