弱弱一問，小朋友嚟緊九月讀K2 ，想請問有冇得插班ESF K2 ？係咪apply得太遲？請問怎樣申請？我見網上九月開始係apply K1。剛攞到FP睇吓有冇機會。(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)

Unlikely to get a place to 插班 into ESF K2. You apply online and application fee is $1000.

Prepare to apply for P1 in September if child was born in 2020.

it is hard to imagine but worth a try. it would be alot harder to get in Y1 than K2. so if you fail K2 you can still try Y1. the waiting line to get into primary is also very long.you will need to know k2 children get to pick Y1 school in september and get allocation by november. i am sure if you got into k2, they will secure a space in Y1 for you.

K2插班，一定唔係而家先報（今年成個程序已經完咗，Admin而家都已經放緊暑假）。
如果你有FP，你應該睇吓自己小朋友邊一年出世，八月報year 1 (mass intake).
上網留意吓，ESF幾時有新生簡介會。

另外, 如果冇記錯，K2插班唔guarantee 有 year 1 位。k1 入先係確保through train 一條龍。K2 11月已經知道自己會派邊一間小學。

最後，如果真係有心想入，可以試吓港島嗰邊啲小學。比KJS同SJS易入好多。

Actually, according to my communication with their head office, if admitted to K2 before the end of this year, a P1 place is guaranteed.

I was double checking my kid admission application to ESF primary school (happened 2 years ago), process actually started on Sep 1 when parents filled out the form online to show their preference and result were released in late Oct.
So not so sure how it works if a kid joined after this allocation process? Being randomly assigned to any school?
