啱啱幫小朋友apply CAIS G5，因不想再讀LS受填鴨式教育，係咪太遲呢？係咪報了多數都有得interview? 有冇CAIS家長可以分享下通常－級－年大約有幾多插班生呢？謝謝(emoji)

謝謝你呀！我哋遲咗好多先報，因為見小朋友LS功課太多背誦，加上佢喜歡英文多過中文，不想佢繼續喺LS這樣落去，所以諗住轉讀國際，希望俾佢換個新嘅學習模式同環境，等佢可以愉快主動學習。

有人話之前幾年國際多啲插班位，唔知今年係咪又少番？

明白，我哋報G5,唔知佢－級有幾多插班位。我都覺得難，因為要depend 佢有幾多位。

系啊，face to face.我哋仲要系有foreigner passport先有interview机会，但系都衰咗

因為之前知道要過咗written test 先，shortlisted candidate 才有面試機會

hi did you call up CAIS admission and asked if there were still available openings before you applied for 2023-2024 Grade 5? as the normal admission deadline was mid Dec 2022.

My son got waitlisted for Grade 5 admission. I heard from Admission that Grade 6 admission was very competitive this year. Usually lower grade admission is less competitive and admission test is less challenging. (no essays required)

We haven’t called up their admission office. We know we have lapsed the general submission deadline but would also like to try. Totally understand the competition for upper primary is keen as it mostly depends on the performance of their written assessment and interview. Many thanks for your information and sharing(emoji)

My son went for an admission exam in Feb this year. Then he went for an in-person interview on campus, while parents did a zoom interview with Admission head We did apply before the mid dec deadline last year. i think there are limited openings for higher primary in general; so admission is quite competitive.

CAIS will not disclose how long the waiting list is.

Thats why I'm curious to hear if any other students who have been admitted into CAIS primary from the wait list pool for the Aug 2023 term.

When you applied last Dec, did they mention if any vacant for grade 5 ? Or did they only ask you to apply for the wait pool?
