上星期阿仔參加咗USYD牙醫學院網上考試和面試，昨天收到offer。有無人在USYD讀緊牙醫可以交流一下? 唔知國際生可唔可以留在Sydney 做placement 呢？

Please watch out that whether your son is given offer for directly to Doctor of Dental Medicine or just the double degree of the Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine which takes 7 years totally. And most important of all not "ALL" students are guaranteed to get admitted to the 2 degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine after they finished their first degree, even you are admitted to this so called double degree course now.

Thank you very much for your information. My son is given the double degree of the Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine which takes 7 years totally. You mean after the first degree, he need to take another exam like GAMSAT?

他是今年A-Level學生，收到offer要三星期內交deposit, 大約AUD26,000。他也收到USYD 物理治療offer, 另外也收到Flinders medicine既offer。不過應該會揀dental medicine。

Not definitely, but they surely will look at the student's overall result before admitting them to 2nd degree. So my advise is to consider this course merely an entry into a undergraduate degree of science, plus a better opportunity into their post-graduate of Dental degree, but not a straight through 7 years with 2 degrees, when compare this with your son's other offers. Additional requirements

Most students enrolled in this double degree who have met all the requirements of their bachelor's degree will be permitted to begin the DMD without being required to sit an admissions test such as the Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test (GAMSAT) or the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT), or participate in the assessment selection process for entry into the Doctor of Dental Medicine.

Prior to commencing the Doctor of Dental Medicine, students are required to comply with requirements for entering NSW Health facilities.

我再詳細睇過USYD個programme, 因為USYD的醫學系和牙醫學系(for 中學畢業生)都係雙學位課程, 必須先讀三年的Bachelor of Science , 成績及格就可直接進入Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Dental Medicine。所以只要成績OK, 就可以直接轉入DMD programme, 不用再考任何其他公開考試。不過這幾年都要努力。再次感謝你寶貴資訊。

不好意思！因這個月我自己要考試，所以現在才看到訊息。阿仔是今年A Level學生。都有報其他大學和不同學科，最後決定選擇在USYD讀牙醫。

阿仔係今年A Level學生，由於他早前已交了同一大學另一個科系的deposit,所以他不用再付deposit, 其實收到offer後，可以考慮一兩個星期，但唔好太耐，因阿仔之前有另一間大學醫學院既offer,但因為一個多月都無交deposit,所以最後學校通知名額已滿。阿仔都收到Monash、Queensland、Newcastle、Flinders medical school既offer，但最後都決定讀dentistry。

No. Need to take license exam in HK.
Or may wait and see how HK Government going to relax the law (like those Medical Doctors from other countries wanna to practice in HK) in coming years.

實習是可以回香港做，但通常當地都有實習位。執業都可以，只是需要考試或等政府公佈免考名單。
