應該唔會有priority, from ESF website

Priority will be based on the following ranked criteria:

PN student will only get priority to Tung Chung K1. Yes you can apply other campus but don’t get priority as a PN student.

It’s only on Tung Chung Website, admission part.

Priority will be based on the following ranked criteria:

Children of full-time teaching staff at ESF or ESF Educational Services Ltd.;
Children of full-time support staff at ESF or ESF Educational Services Ltd.;
Siblings of students already attending an ESF school;
Children who are Nominees under the ESF Kindergarten Class A Debenture Scheme;
Children of former students who have attended an ESF school for a minimum of three years or are former ESF students returning from a period overseas;
Children who complete the pre-nursery class at ESF Tung Chung International Kindergarten;
Other applicants who can benefit from an English-medium education.

Frankly speaking, FP holders hv a very high chance to get a place even their K1 applications don’t submit on time. I believe their priority is higher than those sibling without FP.

Not really, my fd with fp rejected by wks 1 month ago for k1 entry. sibling priority is much higher than fp holder.

If your friend’s kid with FP was given chance for interview but rejected due to interview performance, then priority was already given.
Many kids did not have chance for interview.

U last msg talking about fp holder have higher priority than sibling which I don’t agree at all.  FP holder perhaps only have advantage over N無, but definitely rank behind sibling regardless of passport

Has anyone got an offer from the school? We did the parent virtual meeting and have heard nothing since .
Would you be accepting the offer or would you prefer PN classes other than that from ESF Tung Chung? (I would have thought parents might have secured a place for their little ones before the PN classes at ESF Tung Chung were open for application back in April).

We will never know their rule.

For my kid’s case, we was told kid was fallen to waitlist because of huge amount of applicant in Oct/Nov. My kid end up got a FP and we updated the school and was offered an zoom interview after 16m counts from the batch application.

My frd has two kids. Their little one is same age of mine. No FP. Even their bigger one got Y1 offer last Aug, no invitation of play visit/zoom interview is received up till this moment.

oh you get to choose AM or PM? I see we've been assigned to PM already ~
We actually prefer AM, so if you're AM and would like PM perhaps we could check with the school if we can swap lol

You have sibling in PM class? If yes, they will direct offer you PM as well.

R u sure u can choose am or pm? Coz it’s usually indicated in their offer letter am or pm.

You are right, and thanks to another parent, AM/PM class shows in the system letter, the offer email is kinda misleading.

Just wondering if you have figured out how to commute to school? I called the school and noticed that they do not provide school bus service for pre-nursery. I am struggling if need to move to Tung Chung.
