請問而家搵agent報boarding學校遲唔遲呀？聽講有啲學校要2年前報？

如果係如題2023年9月先入學就唔遲。不過而家要做research 最好自己報，唔好信晒agent.其實不如你自己approach d學校嘅admission 攞下資料同埋了解佢嘅requirement la

報明年 9月唔遲，經 agent 或自已搵學校都可以。有小數學校係要求 2 年前報，但一般一年前報已經可以。

如果已經有心儀學校，就直接email學校問。 agent因為利益問題，會以各種理由如年齡丶宗教問題，discourage你報某啲學校。
如果係茫無頭緒嘅階段，可以向agent問意見， 記住要貨比三家，唔好盡信一個， 亦唔好一開始就畀passport copy，最多只係畀成績表。

都係嗰句，你需要講講你嘅擇校要求，先可以俾到有意義嘅建議。例如，全寄宿比例？齋校/男女校？音樂/運動/課外活動？將來讀A level/IB？等等。

我認為如果本身成績唔錯就唔駛揀讀foundation, 考A level將來會多啲選擇

I think it's a matter of proof that you've "engaged" their services. Once you give your passport to an agent, they can send in applications to schools and "claim" that they represent you (sometimes without your express consent). Then even if you decide not to use them and apply through another agent, the schools may/will not deal with the new agent because they have this agent registered as your official representative. Alternatively, if you then apply by yourself, this agent might still be able to claim commission.
It is therefore very very important to not give an agent too much detail and be clear that you DON'T want them to send in applications on your behalf until you have absolutely decided you want them to.
In fact, the best thing is to apply by yourself and forget about agents altogether.

有好多方法。
Ukiset可以去BC考。
校本試好以問香港學校可唔可以監考，又或者齋俾錢agent做監考。
我三樣都試過。

報過幾間學校，有去Agent安排的地點考（無得揀日期時間），有校本考試（book英國文化協會，考試費$2000，可以揀日期、上下午是但一個session），有的係俾條link你自己上網做CAT4 test（慳錢慳時間）。
但我小朋友無考過要Ukiset的任何學校，因為裸考過一次成績麻麻。

ukiset 上網可以google到有關資料。
學校自己嘅entrance exam，我試過去British Council考，上British Council 網站搞，亦要自己同學校同British Council 跟，亦要俾一定費用。

我建議搵agent搞，因為自己報boarding school要俾錢租exam center 係香港考入學試，每次都要2000左右，考5間已經1萬. 但你要問多幾間agent，唔係個個都有責任感

同意，其實對於茫無頭緒嘅家長嚟講，agent係有存在價值。 尤其是AA個assessment test，做完之後就可以知道自己成績大概可以考到乜嘢ranking學校， 然後再按自己心水去揀，亦唔一定要用AA，要貨比三家。 有多餘錢嘅當然可以去考ukiset，不過唔係間間學校都要考ukiset，尤其是報sixth form，通常都會要你考 a level打算讀嘅科目。
上完agent後再上EK研究下，有心水再決定係咪自己報都得。
自己報有一定成本，樓上家長已提醒。入學試時間如果有clash亦要自己deal，用agent就佢會搞掂。

勸你唔好揾agent，會引導你去啲垃圾學校，日校唔一定有year 9 common entry，如果冇，盡快聯絡學校申請插班
