阿女係2013年細b，local school讀緊2年級，我報左2021/22的3年級，但學校打黎話應該係讀4年級，如果報細一年會有機會影響到第時中學報讀的年份，請問即係點解？
讀低一級真係有影響嗎？

Sorry I misunderstood your question. Unsure how it would affect secondary application. May be their school has age limitation ?

2013年，來緊21年9月開學係升Y4了（等於local P3), 如果你讀Y3, 即係做超大B repeat 一年，但對於有些9月cutoff的IS, 其實係正常。

NIS 入學年齡以31/12為cut-off
如出生於1/9至31/12 可選低1年級

For students starting the 2021-22 school year who are born between 1st September and 31st December, parents may select the standard year level of enrolment for their child’s birth year, or select a lower entry year level. In selecting entry year level, parents affirm that they have considered possible effects on articulation to secondary school arising from their choice of entry

讀NIS 要預左將來考其他中學如ESF 以12/31為cutoff, 如果NIS 做超大b 到Y5 便要考ESF 的Y7, 中間會skip 左一年Y6, 除非間中學收生不足否則你地同d Y6競爭會有困難
