會唔會太重學術，小朋友讀得開心嗎？我知boarders唔多，會唔會活動相對其他學校少？謝謝

學校學習氣氛好。今年去年因為疫情，課外活動是相對小了。老師也很照顧學生。至於讀得開心否，要看小朋友的性格。

Hello, 請問多唔多bully？香港學生同當地學生或其他boarders相處融洽嗎？
Boarding House 設備ok嗎？

以我了解，小朋友比較主動和獨立会好一点。學校主要以本地生為主，所以能融入本地生圈子很重要。
這所學校教導很好，學生都很有禮貌和友善。沒有聽过有bully的情况。

宿舍比較简约舒適。不是豪华型的。明年sixth form 有個新宿舍，应该有所提升。我女兒覺得可以，唯一聽她投訴是吃的一般。

兩個學生一個房間，规定要每學期更換室友。很好的安排因可以和不同的性格的同學同住。擴闊小朋友與人相處的能力。

那也要看疫情。本來新宿舍是今學年落成，但已經延遲了一年。
另外，如果不是信天主敎，星期天的Chapel会覺得郁悶。

我在uk的forum見有頗多當地家長覺得學校太competitive, pastoral care 不夠著重，及因相當學生的家庭背景很強，所以girls tend to be snobbish & arrogant ... 上面的comments令我有點擔心。。。女收到offer, 所以想了解多些。。。謝謝

I believe there are both positive and negative comments for every schools.
Indeed, different characters and personality of the child will suit different schools better.

So, it's not surprised to have views on both side of the coins.

The principal as per my contacts with her is not like what the comments said. She is just very unique, confident and take pride of women, her teachers and her students.

Boarders 大概一百多人。佔全校15%左右。超过一半是本地的，其他歐亞地區都有。香港或中國不多。

分享下，從一位St Catherine's 日校家長口中得知～St Catherine’s style 幾British, relax, academic 有要求. Sport 都幾強, 算是非常強的音樂學校。校風非常不錯，女生很斯文，很少聽到有bullying。

謝謝回覆！很高興有家長分享，學校給新生舉行了virtual introduction ，校長有要求但亦有方法，老師亦了解小朋友的需要，我覺得是好學校！

我女兒今年已經Y13畢業。跟着要面對新一階段的挑戰。祝大家仔女的升學路途一切順利。
