FIS only offer 1 Chinese class every week so you can imagine how much Chinese your kid can learn from school. If Chinese is a great concern for you I don’t think FIS is your cup of tea.

I think your plan to let your kid study in CAIS in early years and then change to other IS which runs IBDP sounds good, and actually there are still 10 years before your kid will take the IBDP, perhaps CAIS will change their curriculum to let more students to take IBDP if it becomes more popular after all these years.

I concur that CAIS might enlarge the IBDP population group as time goes by, and a move might not be necessary by then.
