Since nobody has replied :) I don't have experience myself but read before on edukingdom that last year there were SJS applicants with second choice RC and no foreign passport given RC. Not sure about Kowloon side though

My daughter has been applied for ESF since she was 3. She is is now 6 and still waiting for interview. The first choice is RC, second choice is Beacon hill . Just wondering is it by random for interview coz I have been waiting for 4 years already. (We have foreign passport)

You can check with the RC admission where she is now on the queue.
