May I know what’s the chance to get an offer from GSIS K1 wait list please? Guess not many people will reject offer from GSIS...?

Yes there is chance for waiting , there are not too many waiting. Also there must be someone who won’t take the offer.

I think they have around two weeks to decide taking the offer or not. Good luck.

What happen on the news are usually just part of the story, it also reflects the current elected board is not diplomatic in handling matters. Hope things could be rectified soon. That’s enough for me to say here.

Hi 964000, thanks for the detailed explanation. My girl has passed the assessment for KG2 this year but was put on waiting list. Do you know if they have a big waiting pool for this grade? The school also said that if a spot is not available this year, they will do another round of assessment for my girl for year 1 next year. How many new seats do they have for year 1 or it’s basically depending on the number of leavers? Many thanks in advance!

I don’t know how many are put on waiting list but I’ m sure not all of them.
For Y1 there will be 12 new spots, with extra leavers’ spots (usually 1-3 leavers per year due to relocation). Sometimes the relocation can even happen in the middle of a school year.

Our interview was divided into tier 1 & 2 on different days due to the pandemic. And the whole process takes about 4 hours. Normally it should go with 3 tiers
