Beneden is full boarding, so your girl will have a chance to meet students from all races. I think will have a better social life if studying in full boarding school.

個人鍾意St Swithun’s 多過 CLC 因為CLC 校舍不是inclusive, scatter around Cheltenham town .

What year will your daughter be going to?

Benenden has very good pastoral care and this will be an important point of consideration esp. if your daughter is young. As you may know, this.is a very sought after school of UK people. However it may not be an ideal place for city girls as it is quite far from the city area

其實是但一間收已經好好，只是跟據樓主話 Badminton 校舍比較小和舊，所以我建議remove 佢走。
佢哋ranking 差唔多，冇乜大起大跌。

St Cat also has high ranking. But as I know we need to submit application directly to school so I did not apply it.

CLC, Headington, Benenden都有朋友的小朋友讀過，都係讀sixth form，三間學術成績都相近亦標青，而三個小朋友都入到心儀頂級大學/科目，所以係幾難選擇，但當中CLC應該係較出名，而Benenden就真的比較偏遠靜寂，適合文靜學生，因為朋友小朋友係活躍型，話兩年寄宿生活好悶，考完A level即閃，冇行畢業禮！

除了睇間學校排名之類，都要自己小朋友可以在這個地方生活才可，起碼都要讀幾年。如果sixth form 才去都要生活兩年啦！

St Swithun's boarding ratio is 4x%, just over 200 boarders. I prefer schools with higher boarding ratio and/or no. of boarders.

Benenden may not be the best choice for Sixth Form among the schools you shortlisted. Most girls are studying and living there for a few years, and your daughter may find it difficult to mingle with them as a Sixth Former. Also, Benenden is not all about academic. If you want more focus on academic, I will pick CLC . I have a formal visit to the school and it has excellent campus and facilities. School management is well organised. Girls with more "aggressive" attitude will thrive there.

如果囡囡係申請 Sixth Form，其中一個考慮點就會係，呢幾間學校喺你囡囡想讀嘅科目強唔強，例如公開試成績好唔好。

全部都識有人讀過/讀緊。

Beneden我都好鐘意,但係公共交通好難去到,我又唔揸車。另外ISI sch report話mostly upper class family background..., 我識嗰個, dad n grandpa全香港都識....。應該唔係我哋適合去嘅地方。

St Swithun's原本係阿大嘅首選,但係當年sixrh form要飛過去考,放棄咗。佢有幾個同學讀過, sixth form時all but one去咗Westminister。學校本身係好學校,但係曾經有香港師姐出事,所以到阿細申請學校時冇再考慮。之後香港學校同學去英國,好少再去St Swithun's, 女校就多數CLC, 之後Headington, 再之後St C B or Badminton

想知道一間學校文or 理強，看近幾年大學入什麼科目，便知道。不過不要把醫科和science 混為一談。
另外 st swithun 的Phycis 就一般，有一年一個A*也沒有。 C 都都有人取，那裏強呢！
Headington 這幾年放了很多資源去 IB，連自己學校的女生想考A-levels 的，也寧願走去另外一間 Oxford 出名的 “M”的 co-Edu ，也不留在headington ，而且這幾年headington a-level 的result 真是差了很多。
Badminton 的 science 就平均好d。

你女兒有沒有打算回香港讀醫科？如果沒有還可以，如果有的話一定要有 Physic（全理科）的。
我本人已去過 st swithun 兩次，我就十分喜歡這間學校，但老公就不喜歡了。

學校校舍比較新、大及環境設施完善。學生和老師都十分友善及全面。
老公不喜歡就是Biology 和 Chemistry比起其他英國 independent day school算是不太強。有些英國day school 可以強到沒有取A以下的成績呢！

坦白講，沒有必要去分科看成績。同學間的影響比老師大，整體成績符合到你的要求，有足夠的學習氣氛便可。看到有些科成績好，未必是老師的功勞，可能是當年收到好的學生而已。

以Phy 為例，小女間學校教她有三個老師教，每人負責不同的範疇，很難遇到一年同時是好的老師。其中有二位可以不用上她的堂，換句話說，這科要靠自己的。

同Badminton好似,細校舍,好似少D中國人?My pick,但阿囡㨂co-ed,亦嫌佢唔係full boarding。香港學校ㄧ直有人去讀,成績好,全年得ㄧ個exeat,學費ㄧ個term唔過萬(舊年計)。舊年要自己申請,所以要俾錢British Coucil租考試埸地。大囡有個小學年年考第ㄧ嘅同學過去讀中學,而家喺Oxbridge。宗教氣氛濃厚。

雖然成績唔代表ㄧ切,但係我都會望下。曾經考慮某校,但阿囡想讀嗰幾科,近幾年成績下滑,故此放棄。
至於St Swithun's 嘅Biology, 上面提過大囡同學中剩底ㄧ個喺度讀sixth form,佢媽咪話,考完biol嗰日,成班人乘頭喪氣,佢問其他friend但其他學校冇咁嘅情況....。佢哋target medicine,所以我印象深刻(touch wood最後入到medic)。

其實私校老師轉工轉得好密...我年年都收到學校話邊幾個老師下學年轉校。所以今年教得好的老師，下學年已經可能轉左校
