My kid obtained a conditional offer from Oundle. She will take an entrance exam in Jan of the year of entry.

Please could parents of Oundle students share your experience:

1. is the entrance exam a procedure matter or an exam to screen out the students ?  I am not sure whether my kid needs to have a back up in case she does not perform well in the exam.

2.  your view about the school - any drug, sex, smoking issues?  did you hear of any bullying ?

3.  how is the school life of your children?

Could I know how u get the conditional offer? U apply if they agent? Or directly with the school ?

Entrance exam係procedure,亦絶對係screening,考得唔好學校點會收?考得好就可能有scholarship。

我囡考過oundle sixth form, in埋, 最後唔收。

有不少Top School都會預早派送conditional scholarship 俾有潛力學生，但唔代表必收的，最後仍有篩選，要有兩手準備。

1. Competitive entry！More choice leads to better choices!
2. Don’t worry about it. School has excellent pastoral care and safeguarding.
3. They are my friends’s children. They all enjoy school a lot!!

感謝各位的分享。
我是直接向學校申請報名的。

我有爬文了解家長對此學校的看法，但不多見對
conditional offer 的意見。雖然有看過學校的 sample exam papers, 但始終怕囡囡考試失準。想請教，要做兩手準備，我是否需要 accept多一間學校的offer？

另外，有聽過 conditional offer最後被學校reject的例子嗎？

以我嘅理解, 有錯請指正

conditional offer係考入學試要達到某一個成績就必收，如果達到咗嗰個成績reject，咁派conditional offer出嚟都冇意思
