請教各位，這兩間英國寄宿學校是否差唔多？有無覺得邊間比較好？

For Reodean, quite satisfied
My daughter is a Sixth Form student there. She applied for 5 universities via ucas
4 got an interview (1 rejected)
With 3 offers now including the top choice and 1 still pending for the result😆

請問top offer 係那一間什麼科目？
你是否由year 7 or year 9讀到sixth form?

Sixth form students may go outside on weekends but i don’t think they could stay overnight unless they have written consent from parents.

但exeat 得兩晚，唔會返香港？咁去監謢人屋企？

MSJ Yes, your daughter is welcome to stay at School during Exeats and the Boarding Houses will be supervised. There will be an additional fee of £70 per night for this service.

Half term break needs to leave boarding section
Exeats no need & no extra charge if stayed

唔識MSJ。Roedean 係好學校，表妹當年入讀該校(她媽媽是要求很高的)，最後入了 Cambridge 讀 Law。佢講過有唔少同學入到 Oxbridge。

Agent話Roedean近年好似比內地人買起咁，唔建議我哋報，唔知依個係咪實況？

多內地人的是 Roedean Moira House 這間學校，是 Roedean 另外一間分校。
不過 Roedean school 正校的學生當地英國人大約佔七八成多。在英國本土人心中是好學校和難考入的學校，每年很多人報名考入學試。
現在英國的學校，都會有很多中國人，包括移民和海外留學生，沒有得避免。她們開始像澳洲賣教育。
找學校不要只聽 agent 講的，最好自己帶小孩子去參觀認識，英國每間學校都有自己的特色，有些着重藝術的，有些着重語言的，當然也有些注重理科

Agent 基本只是聽其他家長講，根本沒有真的去看。
今年2019年我自己親自去過幾間出名的英國女校 open day ，例如CLC，Badminton ，MSJ 和 Burgess Hill ⋯等，都有不少中國人，比例也不少，這是無可避免。
如果想選沒有太多中國人的地方，你可以選英國西南部 Plymouth 或比較難去的地方，就少中國人。因為家長也不想去，車程太遠，公共交通轉車也轉到暈。
又或者選一些不太出名的學校，就少d 中國人。但不是沒有。
中國和香港的家長一樣，都想選擇一些名校給子女讀書，因此出名的學校，一定有不少中國人在就讀。

朋友女兒讀緊roedean，覺得學校學習氣氛好好。老師有耐心鼓勵她多嘗試，又多活動，讀得開心

這幾年Roedean 轉了校長，校長是英國最Top 的state school學校出來的，所以他非常有心辦學，不只是拉高成績，還有着重學生的品行，和其他發展
