請問點解有啲學校係有啲科考pre-U有啲科係A level? 我地好鐘意嘅其中一間學校四科中有一科係考pre U 的，有冇家長可指點一下，這種做法普遍嗎？有什麼利弊?thanks

My understanding from the web:-

Pre-U will go deeper than A level of the subject knowledge;

Pre-U grades are benchmarked to A-level standards. The Pre-U D3 is the equivalent to an A grade A level; two grades beyond that, the D2 and D1, extend the range to reward high achievers.
