My sons (3 and 5 year-old) just joined this school for 2 weeks. Both told me that they enjoyed the school life and happy. They like the school.

但我有朋友的小朋友讀緊，兩兄弟也在AIS讀，她説各方面也不錯！反而Stamford是新校，沒有歷史可看，大陸人也較多。

當然不會睇小任何人，但以學校不同學生國藉mix，應該AIS較Stamford好。

你仔仔的家長着重中文為甚麼不轉去local school 或重中文的國際學校？Stamford 不見得標明中文程度好，而且學校太新，沒有進大學的名單，聽聞很容易入到哦！ 反而AIS 的數理和英文教學都聽到不少好評，不太明白有這樣的選擇

有家長不太懂英文、又幫不到孩子，感到吃力的，就會轉到中文比較多（因相對上英文課就會少了）的本地或國際學校，這反而在AIS聽到有這些个䅁。轉往新開的學校很罕見。

但如果要求中文程度高，為何不讀local﹖新加坡國際聽聞中文程度都好高，應該不比standford差，好奇你朋友為何對一間新校咁有信心﹖如果AIS真的咁差，咁當初比大仔入讀到升大學咪好冒險﹖

還有你朋友既然曾送大仔到AIS覺得咁差，為何到細仔還要選擇AIS仲要讀到GRADE 3? 香港這麼多IS SCHOOL，細仔由幼稚園開始已有大把選擇！

利申：本人是用家，so far學得學校唔差，中文無得可以同local同埋比較著重中文的is比，但就算是受香港用家歡迎的esf都不見得中文可以比美local school！但我可以大膽講句，佢地係注重數學同閱讀，我小朋友grade 1 jr 每天都有數學工課，佢地教的數學及得上香港的local school！
反而想提醒現時搵緊學校的家長，現時真的多咗香港人入讀is，所以有好多新校為求迎合呢批新家長都額外加插好多近乎local既中文課程，但大家選校時往往忘了初衷，用local學校既尺度去選is 學校，咁當初又為何要選擇行is呢條路呢﹖

My son is studying in AIS. Our impresssion is that AIS is a very authentic international school, which truly embraces the American cultures, including appreciating individual's characters and strengths, instead of "mass producing students using the same mold". Since my boy is still in the kindy, I am unsure the curriculum of the high school yet. But, I did hear that the curriculum in high school is robust and aggressive. However, how much effort one devotes to pursue his/her academic achievement is quite personal. It is true that the high school students may not dress up as tidiy as expected by the traditional chinese culture. If you have a walk just outside the campus after school, you may see some girls wearing make up (not heavy) and short skirt. How much you care about this is very much up to your belief and cultural background. Traditional chinese may lable this as bad discipline. Whereas, one may think there is nothing wrong for a teenager trying to look cool/trendy in his/her own way. My husband used to study in Canada. He truly likes the atmosphere of AIS coz it made him feel like being back to his mother school. He said if you put your child in an international school, what's the point of expecting values and standards of traditional chinese schools. That's a very important point to consider before putting your child in an international school.

Appreciate your sharing also and I heard some children (primary section) studying there also have good academic and discipline!

EC1 Assessment時感覺老師很有愛心。學校有基本設施，無想像中咁舊。

我地去完interview，見好多中學生放學，全部都流利美式英文傾計，無見到有人食煙。我5月頭會去家長嘅briefing session,到時再了解一下。

今日去咗家長orientation day, 學校介紹咗小息同午飯嘅安排，買校服，訂校巴安排，每日上堂時間表等等。感覺安排唔錯，學校唔算話好大，但球場，操場，遊樂場，泳池都有。
校外見到有一男一女中學生手拖手，校內見d中學生打籃球，有幾個小學生一齊打機。全部人都係講英文，正正常常一間學校咁。
EC1即係出面K1,完全唔會有功課，主要返去都係玩。一星期有2堂普通話，2堂PE同音樂堂。
其他家長感覺都nice。課室都有地毯範圍，方便圍圈坐地下活動，d枱就唔似傳統學校向哂老師，係一組組咁分組坐。

已過咗放學時間，果幾個似係等緊大人pick up. 其中一個睇緊ted talk, 另有2個用usb抄緊file, 有1個打機。全部都係用laptop的。學校需要佢地帶laptop
其他IS係點，我唔清楚了。

Applied the their primary school last year, go to school tour, feel not bad. But not good experience when message with the admission on their dashboard system. The thing is I received a reminder to submit my son’s latest school report but i explained that his kindergarten not yet provide to me, and i asked if the report is a MUST before arranging the interview. The admission just replied and asked me to follow up the notes and no assessment offer before i finished all process, and write down “this is my last time writing to u, from now on, i will pass ur file to my assistant” (not feeling well with the words, think a little bit rude). Anyway, i thought i need wait until have new school report, HOWEVER, i got interview email soon later, but actually I didn’t do anything...What really disappointed me was what happen during the interview day. There are total 3 kids in the classroom with 2-3 teachers (i dont remember), also another teacher talking with parents, 45-50mins later, after they come out from the classroom, my son got a quite deep and long scratch on his face (near the eye 2cm long), and the teachers not even notice till i ask them. I did show an unhappy face when leaving. I am not a over-protect mum, but the school really not give me a good impression on profession and carefulness.

我地去過ESF同AIS 嘅K1/EC1 play visit,大少都係積極不合作ESF無乜理過我地，反而AIS嘅老師主動問我地佢鐘意乜嘢，幫手搵d佢鐘意嘅玩具同書出嚟一齊玩，穩定情緒
最後，無ESF offer，有AIS offer.
至於學校行政方面，由交表到安排play visit，去到收offer，由AM班轉PM班，交學費，book校巴，家長orientation date等，暫時都無乜問題。
