在Cambridge English Fun for Starters, listening 部份時常聽到這樣說，example：
woman: Put the watch on the boy's hand.
Girl: Put the watch where?

並不是說where do I put the watch?

外國人是否真的會這樣說話？但錯grammar 都ok?

另外問某種動物有幾多隻腳，應該是
how many legs have they got? 還是
how many legs do they have?
兩者有何分別？

1. 我覺得有機會係方便小朋友「聽出問題」去作答，所以會調 question word 到後面。

2. how many legs have they got/how many legs do they have 一樣可以用。不過記得前者英式英文（尤其係老一輩）常見 d，後者美式英語常見。Cambridge 我記得係英美融合，兩種嘅口音、串法都會出現。
例如 I have got to find out where he is hiding/I have to find out where he is hiding，都係一樣。

我會因應前文後理決定點用：
例如：There are 3 rabbits and 4 ducks in a farm. How many legs do they have altogether?
例如：How fast can spiders run? How many legs have they got?
我估係習慣問題，唔係對錯既問題。

這個沒有問題？
咁如果問"Watch is what?" 即係問錶即係乜野呀？咁又得唔得？我女成日跟左工人姐姐咁講。

我相信是因為第一句是”Put the watch on xx”,
女孩聽不清楚便repeat 番”Put the watch where?”
所以沒有問題。
如果沒有第一句便不會這樣説，女孩會直接説”Where should I put the watch?”

當年測考時, 我係put on my right hand, 因為可以一面答題, 一面睇時間, 唔駛等視線移右手去睇時間。
