Are you talking about primary, secondary or university? Uni is pretty much the same as in HK. Primary and Secondary will be quite different.

The biggest difference is no homework and exam until high school. This happens in public schools.

NCEA has divided into internals and externals, so basically if you failed in one paper, it doesn't really matter as long as you perform better in other papers.
certainly less stress than HKDSE, but you really have to be self-motivated, as it requires a lot of essays and discussions in class.

to me, I find it easy and I achieved well in every papers with excellence ( but ofc I do study ).
however, for other "hea" students, they don't study at all but still can achieve average score with Merit, so it means the passing rate is high and easy :)

NCEA,LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 必修的English, reading and writing ,容易PASS嗎?
