lancing is not a very top school as my friend living in Brighton told me. She said if you work hard, its fine.

Lancing may not be a top academic powerhouse now but you need to work hard everywhere you go anyway. Lancing is a traditional school in a beautiful setting and is quite well known. It may not be as aggressive as some rising stars. It really depends on the character of your child.
