Got reject letter from hillside. Have offer from KCIS but struggling between KCIS (good for IS only) or PODS (good for both IS and local).

I have experienced both as my big kid in upper primary just changed from KCIS to ESF. To me, UK curriculum in early years and strong Chinese foundation is more important than facilities.

Got AM offer. But we are currently in Victoria PM class. Struggling staying in Victoria or going to Hillside. Main concern is the Chinese and seems Victoria has more choices to go for primary

That’s true. It’s difficult to go out if study in ESF.

I got PODS offer too. But I don’t know, seems the setting of pods is too local.

Pods is similar to victoria which has both eng/putonghua stream and eng/putonhua/cantonese stream.

Dun worry, I know few kids from pods still can get offer in y1 and y2. Pods are good for both IS and local private schools

Heard that some kids from kcis to esf were assigned to group one in mandarin lesson.
