My boy got the offer and I hope there are enough kids to choose CS. Today is the deadline for confirming a place, I think CS will inform us shortly.

my daughter got offer and gave the confirmation fee at last week, called school today and they said still need to wait. but they will have another round interview for other new applicants on next week. Hopefully, they can open new class......

3 classes for year 3, around 25 students per class.
No need to go outside. There is an outdoor playground plus an indoor playground (school hall). And the roof top is now undergoing renovation, which will also be used for PE lesson in the future. The only lesson needs to go outside is the swimming lesson.

3 classes year 3 in 2017/18, but school will control to 3 classes each grade for long term.

PE class at school play ground, hall and roof floor. (reconstructioning )

Thanks. One more question - what is the homework load for Y3, and what is the nationality mix of the students? YMCACC (secondary) surely is diverse, but the primary may not be the case.

Thanks. How important is sports in YMCA - how many PE classes do they have per week, and do they have sports teams or lots of sports related ECAs?

Usually math homework once a week, diliver on Friday.
Chinese homework once, twice, third a week, depends the topics / teacher.
Literacy homework once or twice a week.

Students mix in our class are 10 out of 25 are foreigners. They are Indian, Filipino, Japanese, Nepal, Italian and Brazilian.

We have athletics team, swimming team,Rugby, soccer, cricket, badminton, basketball, table-tennis, fencing etc for after school activities.

Sports are important in YMCA.

I understand there is Sibling Priority if there is an older child in the school, but how "realistic" it is for the younger kid to enter into Y1 if the kid is on "waiting list"? In other words, do we know if there are applicants (who have accepted the Y1 offer) will quit/ withdraw the acceptance during Y1 period?

If your elder one had accept the offer and registered, your yourger old has the priority once there is a place in year one.

Another question if I may - for Y3, what level of materials do they use? By that I mean, Chinese/ Math use HK curriculum, so they are using “HK P3” materials. How about Eng and other subjects, since they follow the UK curriculum - do they use “UK Y3” or “UK Y4” materials?

P3 HK textbooks for Maths and Chinese.
The rest of the subjects follow key stage 2 of
British National Curriculum. You may check out the link for more details.

P. 3 HK curriculum Text books and work books for Chinese and Math.
Others follow UK Nation curriculum year 3-4. And materials provided by school.
