如題 : 囡囡申請ucas 五間學校, 但有冇分學校先後次序, 因為填果陣冇按先後排, 例如: 第一志願, 第二志願等, 謝謝

收到offer 後，只填兩個，第一個firm choice,第二個insurance choice, 所以收到心水的offer，便不用選五間。

申請的時候是沒有分先後次序的，但當你收到conditional offer 時便要從當中選擇兩間學校作為Firm choice，即你的第一志願 及insurance choice 即你的第二志願！

請問如果已經有 unconditional offers ?咁 係未都要等埋全部五間？deadline 都一樣？

不用等的。
老師最初叫選最心水三間先，三間都有offer 的話，便選一及二，那麼便不用再入第四及五，如果頭三個冇offer, 那四五便降低要求搵學校。

以我經驗，排名高的大學，要求入學分數未必高於排名低的大學。所以選學科出名及認受性高一點。UCAS 放榜後，Firm & insurance choice 的大學自動搵你，如果兩個有meet 到offer, 你便可二選一。

咁樣好啲！想借問一下，如果最後成績非常好，比firm choice還好！可否再apply 之前如果沒有offer 或者之前沒有揀但是比較高offer 的uni ?

    如果meet到兩間Firm & Insurance choice 可以選外，有unconditional offer 的大學，沒有在UCAS 選的，都有出email 問你可以入讀。所以有unconditional offer 在手就放心好多。

    No! Absolutely not!!  That is why you have to carefully pick the one you love most as firm choice. If you meet both conditional offers, the UCAS procedure is you have to decline the firm offer before you pick the insurance choice that may take a few days. But if your insurance choice is a popular program, by the time you "successfully" decline the firm offer, your insurance choice may have already rejected your offer by default, through UCAS system.  Don't take the risk.

    Not too difficult. For most cases, LSE is a far better choice than UCL. What subjects/program she is looking at?

    My son just asked this question too! If he can finally pick his insurance instead of firm choice. I just showed him your answer! Thanks!

    Subject ranking is higher for LSE and her teacher strongly recommends LSE so probably she will take LSE as firm choice.

    I am just concerned about their student satisfaction which is always low.  The campus is also less attractive.



    My friend, whose daughter is in LSE, blames the accommodation.

    Yes.  She enjoys the interview experience but she doesn't think she will get in.   She's happy with LSE so that's not her concern.

    Having said that, LSE is a very very good choice for Law too, equally good if not better than Oxbridge.

    趕到的，我身邊有幾個朋友去年及早年都是1月Foundation，然後入到U的。

    EF Foundation，成績達到每一間大學標凖同雅思分數就OK

    其實很大部份家長都覺得EF不好，但我又吾覺係咁，一樣有很多EF學生入到Top U, 只要你分數同雅思達到同佢掛勾既大學，基本上冇問題，好過淨係入一間U 讀Foundation 只可升返自己U
