Take the example of BBA(Law) and LLB of HKU, the admission scores of the former are higher than the latter. It is believed that BBA(Law) is more competitive with an additional degree and major. But if the student is good and competitive enough, LLB should suffice and one year's time is saved.

如果你已經有本科學位，揀JD。如果無，揀LLB。

如果成績好，讀完JD、LLB都可以申請讀PCLL。

我係咁睇既：
首先，有幾多讀完JD、LLB既會繼續讀PCLL然後執業？唔過半，即係好可能小朋友讀完之後唔係做律師。
第二，如果唔做律師，有嘜出路？最好既應該係去大公司做法律顧問，然後升上管理層。
第三，如果真係做律師，競爭大唔大？答案係大，所以加強競爭力既方法係多一門知道，你有BBA背景，將來可以主打商業案件。

If the student is uncertain whether the legal profession is genuinely suitable for him/her, BBA+JD may give him/her more exposure before making up his/her mind.
