朋友上年 Concord 畢業，話 OK 唔谷，係好多中國人但係唔會打機通宵，都會讀書果隻。

我朋友係立陶宛人，佢話呢 d Boarding School 一向都比較少英國人（英國人通常唔讀呢 d），Nigerian、東歐、中國人多，似大學 Business／Engineering 學系咁。不過唔緊要，大家都係要用英文溝通。

Boarding School 一定有 Sports 玩，尤其 Concord 有個靚 Gym！朋友最鍾意玩籃球

應該有體育堂，不過體育呢架野，無師自通多，玩得多見得多就會識，唔洗特登教。

my nephew graduated here ten years ago, then go to HKU medi.
very good academically, strong support from teachers in study and preparing you for university entrance

dont expect like the traditional type of UK school. It aimed at more in academic. So its good you go at year 12. Otherwise, aim at somewhere else.
Dont worry, its really good. Teachers coached you how to interview for medi and law. They are expert in teaching as well

also, unlike other schools, it will open for the students to stay during term break. so save your time for travelling

學生多數不是英國本土人, 似international school, 可以用A工廠來形容嗎?

Yes, its not very local. So all depends what you would expect. If you want to learn British culture, better go to traditional one. My nephew made jokes about how wealthy some of his classmates were. They were from Middle East. But it was not a problem for him since he is from international school in HK. His Eng is already very good.

朋友話同屆有個女仔係 Indomie 老闆個千金，d 麵一箱一箱咁帶過黎與同鄉分享。中東班同學仔，遠望冇咩特別，一坐隔離，發現成身名牌，細問原來係酋長家眷。

Concord 多中國人，所以講普通話好普遍，不過你執意要講英文都得，咪同其他國籍嘅同學做朋友。

如果去讀6th form, 我認為揀一間可以拿好成績,學習氣氛同照顧好學生嘅學校，比是否會多Asian同講英文重要，因為頭尾加埋，去除放假及考公開試時間，整個yr12加year13, 其實只係大概上課total 12個月.
我同囡囡揀呢間當初只係因為學生成績好，同我囡囡比較懶，見concord每星期六有測驗，可以迫佢keep住溫書。上年同佢一齊去開學，發覺個校園好大好靚，好多facility,雖然學校不會迫做運動，但囡囡以前在港從不做運動，去到都開始有做。學校另一好處係mid term及Easter 可留校，不用煩再找Guardian, 朋友囝囡學校因係傳統boarding, 在考試溫習期間term break，要煩找地方。學校多亞洲人，但最多的是星馬印，囡囡好少同香港中國同學玩，同馬印玩多，因為有錢的馬印學生都樸素好多，其他俄及中東的也一樣，大部分人都真係好有錢，好彩我囡不會自卑，因我哋只係普通打工仔。學校照顧及宿舍真的很好，而且佢真係A工廠，會操卷，D有錢學生都唔會hea, 整間學校學習氣氛好強，去得讀6th form 嘅學生都係一心想讀書同入好大學的，但亦會balance有活動。
囡囡都讀得開心，因為香港成績唔係咁好，因為懶，上年AS，佢所有科目都攞A，好開心，有番自信，同學相處亦融洽。而且佢覺得每星期測驗，到考公開試反而冇壓力。
個人認為去讀6th form 可以考慮，但太細個去我就覺得去傳統學校會比較好。

認同！Sixth Form 尤其係自我競賽嘅時候，只要學校唔係溶溶爛爛，成績好就得，少中國人／多活動係 bonus。
登你女女高興，有讀書動力，學業課餘生活平衡

對，學校會提供不少入oxbridge 及top U 的意見。囡囡報Cambridge 時，學校會根據佢想報的科目，建議報邊間College. 因報Cambridge 要提高攞到CO 機會，睇報邊間 College 都好重要。基本上，我冇乜參與囡囡報校選擇，都係佢自己同學校K

但大部分朋友囝囡的英國中學，對6th form 學生的支援都唔會差，所以讀邊間都不用太擔心這方面。反而要了解一下囝囡對底想讀得Hea D, 或真係好想努力一點去證明一下自己。如果唔係想aim for top 10 英國大學，英國仲有好多其他好大學，就不一定要考慮concord讀6th form. 始終學費比較貴D。

會唔會踢人走真係唔知，起碼囡囡讀咗一年多未聽聞。學校會建議yr12先讀起碼4科，yr13 如果應付不來就或者發覺冇興趣就可drop一科。如開始只讀三科就冇興趣都要讀下去，會好辛苦，冇咗選擇

諗返起佢兩年前係英國傳統學校讀書的時候，完全係兩個人。不過好睇你需要咩學校！

Y9 no point going. They don't learn anything. Most aim for 6th form. Admission easier if you are applying from outside than if you are current students. So if your child is not a top performer, best apply 6th form.

Answer is YES. If you do not meet 4'8s' and 2'9s', you'll be asked to leave. So best apply 6th form from HK. Easier than current students.
