I think anyone in HK Island is highest chance, CWB second , then beacon hill

But KJS and SJS are Foundation schools based on catchment area. most likely switch to BHS to interview I suppose.

I heard people did get into CWB at the end when even BHS is full

150 @ KJS

just my guess: KJS is much oversubscribed than expected which they cannot even interview all children with priority. So better divert them now so that everyone (with any kind of priority) will get a spots?

but BHS is a small school with 90 seats. the teacher said last year, 40 were offered to siblings, it means only 50 left. its also quite competitive.

不過龍年有2269applicants，今年（未計general application）只有大概2000

再加上舊年多咗TC

條數應該夠位收晒ESF kinder學生的，不過有些可能要誇區，如果係我覺得寧願誇著區收左先第日再轉，好過直接waiting 唔知wait到幾時

係咁開幼稚園，加位，今年，可能終於出現「問题」，當然，呢個係家長嘅問題，唔係英基總部嘅問題，收多啲學生，賺多啲。

BHS 應該吉唔到幾多位，今年，成間anfield 都得一個冇priority 入到，其他據說未聽到有，有都怕且一兩個。間間ESF siblings 都佔一半，仲有幾個位俾敎師子女同Sen,有幾多位剩？

今年priority 人數我估多咗近一百人，wks 去年6班今年8班，TY 去年升k2 有些走去TC ，因此每班至少三四k2 先入,冇priority, 今年不同。TC 本身enrolment 亦多咗。

Wks 主要去SJS, TC 去KJS. 今年，好講彩數。

所以我成日叫D人認真考慮港島ESF, 有五間小學，只有一間幼稚園，到時入左，轉番九龍應該吾難。

唔知係因為多咗人報定佢想in少d人定佢想早d安排好俾自己幼稚園嘅學生。定暗地裏攪one-form system.

原本今年要行one form system, 即唔可以分開報3 間 (foundation + RC + DC), 一張application form apply時候要填choice 1 2 3 (可以無 choice 2 or 3), 再加choice 4 同 5 可填跨區foundations. 只會有一次interview.

I did call ESF admissions Office, they just reiterated the process and were not able to advise on the odds. So I also called BHS where we applied for Year 1 last year and they didn’t want to tell me where I stand in the queue either .

Bad luck not having a helpful person to answer hard questions??

If you are willing to pay NR, you have top chances anyway. The rest is luck whether you pass interview.
In that case I would choose the one I like more.
KJS is a big school. BHS is a small school. Can be quite different.

I don't think NR is needed. My son applied for Y1 but not being invited for an interview, however he got invited in the end of the academic year. He got in and now in Y3. Recently, 2 new kids join and I don't think they have paid NR.
