It took place in Jan 2017 for 2017/18 intake

I have the interview assessment on NOV, i would like to know any interview for parents or just for kids? Thanks!

many thanks ! can tell what would they ask during the interview? i was also told by the school that the interview will be in Jan next year but just got their email that we need to attend an assessment in Nov. Not sure if they changed the arrangement this year.

18/19學年會有幾間國際學校同時開。可能大家都想盡快收生,所以會早些interview。

No worry about the assessment. School will assess your child's ability according to their age and there are not necessary any standards or benchmarks. The teachers are experienced and will mainly see if the child is suitable to study in IS but not any academic achievements

It's a through train school from preschool. Kindergarten students go directly to Year 1.

They said that they will look at the make-up of the class and the balance of place available for all those who passed the assessment and they will be in contact very soon.
I think they sent that to every applicant ...

They do look at the distribution of nationalities in the class seriously and follow the 80% foreign passport policy strictly. I guess they are probably working on the number of local and foreign students they can accommodate after absorbing the students from pre-school.

Maybe the surprise about Tin Wan campus also causes all this delay....

What is the mix in pre-school? Does it have a higher mix of local students?

Very international. In my girls' class, there is 40% British, 20% Australian, 20% Chinese (PRC) and the rest HKers. The British and Australian are Caucasian, not simply Chinese dual passport holders.

Yes- that's how it is called in Sai Kung or Tai Tam campus. Is your offer not for Lam Tin?

OK i see. the offer we got is for Sai Kung campus

Hi may I know for 2018-2019 year 1, is it only for either tai tam or Sai Kung campus , for sure not for Lam tin campus ?

The three campuses all have year 1. The intake for Sai Kung campus will be the smallest.

Does any parent know about the details of Juilliard music curriculum? I wonder if my son could learn to play instruments eg. Piano through the curriculum, or it just provides workshops and plays for kids.

I just got an email from the Admissions office telling me the chance of getting a slot in Y1 is tiny as all kinder students will be guaranteed a place in Y1. They encouraged me to apply for Reception intake this year. Two campuses available, TT and SK. I guess it means there are still vacancies left for Reception. I was planning to apply for Y1 next year.
