I went to the admissions office today and asked about Year 1 interviews, the lady said there will be a "written test". Could any parents share what type of "written test" it is? Thanks

I heard anfield kinder teaches phonics very well, I guess it's primary will be in line with that? Maybe some simple writing of words? My tips at least be able to write your own name.

My kid took the interview last year for year 1 but did not hear anything about written test from my kid. My kid couldnt write very well but still got the offer. So i doubt if there are really any such tests.

Thanks all. The lady said the decision to give an offer rests on the teachers, of a teacher does not think the writing is necessary, he/she can just omit the result. May I know if all the teachers are British / BBC?

Not all are British.

I think the interviews for IS are unlikely to be too academically orientate anyway.
