My son is studying Anfield nursery, I am thinking whether to change to other IS or not for my son in K1. I love the way that Anfield is so caring and family like style and the student there are happy and disciplined. I plan to put him to Anfield primary too, however, it won't guarantee with 50 seats provided for Year 1. Not sure about ESF, any comment or existing parents of ESF can share your observations and whether it guarantee it go straight for Year 1 of Primary. How's the students there?

anfield 幼稚園入anfield小學, 你申請通常都入到。因為好多anfield學生會放棄入讀, 多數係因為anfield小學無中學, 好多人會選擇一條龍的國際學校。

Yeah I say there is a very good chance your kid will get in Anfield Primary before ESF, most people say you may not even get a chance for an interview with ESF unless you have some sort of priority

No, but you have to pay 45k at admission part of which I think is 2 months school fees. Can't remember what the rest is for

You do have to pay 2 months school fee as debenture for kindy too but you get it back if you give them 2 months notice for withdrawal or it can offset your last two months school fees

Do they call it debentures? Too long ago I have totally forgotten

Yes they did call it Debenture. And just now I found from another forum that for primary all the 45k goes towards the school fees, 15 k in the first term and 30k in the last term

They have an open day on the 14/10, you should go have a look if you haven't

請問open day會講咩？小朋友黎緊一月入nursery 帶埋小朋友去會唔會有得去當熟習下環境

Anfield open day is like freestyle visit, no seminar session there from last year experience. All classrooms are open, teachers are around, they are nice to welcome any questions. Of course always good to bring your kids along to make them get a feel and play a bit there.

If your target is anfield primary, of course sticking to Anfield kinder will be the best.

我小朋友讀開playgroup 係15年12月細b ,岩岩九月submit application 我remarks話如果一月有位我想插一月nusery 校長之後見我同小朋友其實係問我野only 跟住就話有一班係專俾細b 既n 班一月開咁就即時收左喇

今日去完開放日，諗住問下國語老師小朋友讀完k大約中文程度點樣？點知佢答非所問，跟住話唔好意思佢英文唔太好：(有冇用家可以答我佢哋上到小學中文程度點樣？

Since the title here is ESF vs Anfield, I believe the Chinese level of anfield should be better than ESF kinder, and anfield teaches in 繁體字
