1. Goto www.bookdepository.com

2. Log on your account
3. Add the books you want into the shopping basket.
4. When above step 3 is done, checkout please. On basket checkout screen, you can see an 'Add coupon' box for you to input discount code, e.g. for this promotion, the code is'hongkong15'

Offer Ends tomorrow 20/7/2017 11 p.m. (I presume Hong Kong Time).

Yes, you are correct. Scanning the QR code is not a must. Just adjusted the note to avoid misunderstanding.
The key to discount is entering the discount code.

另外可以在 Amazon UK 找相同的套裝書及查看 thebookpeople 會否在 sellers list。如在 sellers list，可選擇從 thebookpeople購買，在付款前查看總額(書價+運費)然後對比thebookpeople 官網的總額後才決定在哪邊付款購買(雖然最後都是由 thebookpeople fulfill the order)。

由於從thebookpeople 購書來港，運費往往佔總額的一個重要部份，而Amazon UK 的運費計算與 thebookpeople 官網有所不同，所以同一套書的運費在Amazon UK 還是在 thebookpeople 官網落單可以有明顯分別。

Really?我之前買了本考試書$1200，just before 15% dis . 佢未process 不過唔想cancel 去取discount.原來佢地願意！冇左$200...

Have you compared their ISBNs? Maybe one from UK and the other one from US. There can be other differences as well such as the dimension, weight ... etc. Please compare carefully to ensure you get the right one.

Have you compared the details? The reprint edition should be simply a reprint of the original US version published in year 2015. While the page sizes are roughly the same, the UK version is cheaper and has almost 30 pages more. Maybe with extra illustrations/notes. If interested, you may contact the publisher to confirm the differences. If I have to choose between the two, I'll simply have the UK version.

As far as I remember, Book Depository's promotion code is a little bit tricky to use. Usually they will send the promotion code to their customers by email with a link to the web page where you can key in the promotion code. Last month's offer is really unusual.

BTW, shopping with Book Depository and the book people can earn Asia Miles.

If you don't have any valid discount on hand, I would suggest you first to add the books you want into the wish list and wait for the price drop as well as offer email from BD to you personally.

I would suggest you to add some books to your wish list. BD may come to you suddenly with a personal discount email like the one below. However, sometimes the price fluctuation itself can be much more than 10% so usually I don't wait for the coupon.

咁係！單本書都免運費，價錢還平過書局些少，選擇又多。最適合補貨，例如一套缺幾本嗰種，或者新書上市想早D睇

我估其實個價錢係由外幣折算回港元. 所以好伶仃(會有如0.43), 同個價差不多天天都不同. 現在港元低, 所有書其實都貴晒.

試下先加些書入去你BD戶口內的wishlist, 佢地無耐就會發 discount 電郵給你。不過你也要留意個電郵會否被郵箱過濾了，轉咗去 spam/junk folder.

另外一招是使用不同電郵地址開多一兩個戶口，不同戶口收 coupon 的日子不一。
