將會在西九開校，有playgroup 幼稚園同小學
上網search 在NY 很出名，香港是新校。請問有認識呢間學校既家長嗎？

Yes, this is the one and I have read through their website. Just wonder how's the reputation of the school in the globe as there is quite limited information about the school.

and they will have the new campus at West Kowloon with a new kindi and a primary school together.
I had little idea of the school name before but learnt that it is quite a famous school in NYC....so I wonder if anyone heard about it or have anything to share

近排好多新校，包括IS and private school, 即使海外已有辦學經驗，在香港如要加入中文經驗和效果如何，真要一段時間後才知。個人覺得在商場辦幼稚園可以，但若辦小學甚至中學難接受，孩子需要多D活動空間。這校小學每年16萬5(假設10期)，差不多等於我孩子間PIS的DP學費，好嚇人。

今日去聽完簡介會，我都覺得小學未比到信心我
反而playgroup 或者幼稚園可以一試

The Dalton Foundation has announced the official opening of its new non-profit, child-centered primary school - Dalton School Hong Kong.
Founding Principal Larry Leaven says “the goal of DSHK is to capitalize on this natural curiosity by encouraging our children to explore life through a lens of creativity and critical thinking. It is our mission to create bilingual lifelong learners who lead with self-confidence and compassion.”
DSHK's unique child-centered program based on the world-renowned Dalton plan, along with its partnership with the esteemed Tsinghua University Primary School is able to provide a strong emphasis of Chinese language, culture and values.
By implementing the Tsinghua University Primary School’s standards, US Common Core Standards, and dual language research—DSHK’s Chinese and English teachers and subject teachers work hand-in-hand.
DSHK is situated inside the Imperial Cullinan residential development in the West Kowloon Cultural District. The 3-story spacious building design concept embraces nature and openness with a modern interpretation of Chinese architecture. Taking full advantage of the water-front location, emphasis has been placed on utilizing and integrating natural materials into the school, creating a beautiful, child-centered integrated space for learning. School facilities, upon completion, include a multi-purpose sports/concert hall, a Chinese literacy center, indoor and covered play areas, science labs, a Makerspace, and robotics rooms.

開在天壐個商場？共用會所嗎？咁貴學費我expect有個正式校舍有戶外地方有私家泳池，這裡草都冇一條。而且學生天天上課要經過附近名牌林立的環境我覺得不大理想。

LDK （薄扶林幼稚園）開咗好多年，喺外藉家長間的comment 幾好，有好多人唔轉傳統IS就為咗讀埋佢，我報咗今年K1早幾日in完，暫時感覺都良好

之前係隔離飲茶，望吓佢似乎係商場入面，就算有多過一層，個校園真係唔符合IS小學的要求，幼稚園就ok。比咁既學費，讀一間無往績的新校，咁既校舍，有保留。

Non profit 並非等同慈善，non profit 即盈餘不能派给股東，只可用番係學校教學上，所有香港由政府提供土地建校舍的國際學校和private independent school 都是non profit

不是商場，是學校租晒相信全部retail area.
學校open day 時參觀過
地下一層是playgroup+幼稚園area
一樓二樓全是小學範圍
幼稚園感覺其實ok 的
小學我唔係好接受無outdoor playground
同埋太新，無track record.

原來同美國Dalton冇關係，咁借人地個名用都得？成萬六一個月，小學冇outdoor冇泳池真係唔收貨，設施差過津校，英基都有泳池啦。

我覺得等如franchise, 無話唔可以用同一校名...
不過，我都係咁同朋友講，呢個價錢我expect ISF 咁要有泳池gym...佢而家呢個status, 暫時no good
但又公平d,大部份津校設備都唔會好過佢

我今日其實有去,個校舍唔係唔靚但又俾唔到好有學校既感覺。除左鐘意佢會好注重中文同會教繁體外暫時冇咩好吸引到我。
