讀緊Vic 可直升K，現有堅真offer ，打算升本地小學。有20分（首名及宗教），有一妹妹跟尾。地點唔重要（因會搬或駕車）。

價錢其實差不多（因如take堅真會要外補英文)，兩間都happy school . Vic 英文好，堅真中文好。

大家認為留係Vic（要考私小但可抽獎）定去龍校（7-8升真小，只可自行無得大抽獎）比較好呢？

I had the same choice as u before
And at the end I chose to stay at Victoria

Guess u are in cwb branch ?
So y pick vic at the end ?

I picked Victoria over TL because of its language environment and learning approach. Moreover, the facilities and resources are better.

I also talked to TL parents for first hand info and opinions regarding pros and cons

I suggest you to talk to current TL parents first and gather enough details for you to weigh between the two schools.

Hope u choose the school best fit you and your kid!

Thank but I guess u must be very confidence in your kid .

I hv no confidence in my girl and feel stressful for playing those interview games .... that's y I am so struggle .

No... in fact it took me several months to gather enough info and weighing pros and cons (switching school per se also TL vs Vic)

Actually one thing may help you is to ask yourself if TL primary school or even secondary school is the one u really want your kid to go in... if yes then you go for TL

If not, or If you like VSA (it's quite good if money is not a concern) then perhaps better stay at Vic.. at least u don't really need to send kids to extra mandarin or phonics class in general.

VSA now is super competitive , last year 1000 applicant just pick 120 kid !

vic language environment is superb ! And my kid is studying very happily . But once concern she might feel harsh when going to local p1 and need to play the p1 game . I hesitate .......

不過vic 仲未問家長下年既去向，所以仲有得諗。

I have SPK K1 offer.. I still cannot decide which school....
next Thur we need to pay first month fee for Victoria..... sigh

Spk 當然是spk 吧！
真羨慕。

女女面試後會情緒不穩，我連interview 都無去到，因為明知陪跑。

vote for 堅真，它有小學。Vic 都好好，無其他有傳統小學的幼稚園會選vic (你想入Vic 的小學另計)。

the language environment.... talk to foreigners is not an issue for Vic kids... it is part of their life

that's why I am so indecisive to go SPK... but it sounds silly to give up SPK.. I think fluty you can understand me

If go SPK.... must send her to English and Mandarin classes.... intensive one... not just once a week

Yes same though !
But it's quite safe for staying in spk and TL (around 70% promote to its primary , right ?)

Those language tutorial not a must to make super intensive but have to make them at least up to or above standard .
By the way where u live? Hk island side ? Maybe we can share where to find a good language tutorial teacher or learning center later !
