We are N 無 and got dgjs offer! What a surprise!!!

But anyone who think like us - the school we really want to get in is sscps (st Stephen's) but unfortunately received the waitlisted letter some days ago.....

Although my son got sscps offer i definitely think DGJS is of another level...

Well true, but it goes back to the question of everyone's dream vs daughter's dream. She likes sscps the most and it was really disappointing to know we are waitlisted; while she already said she doesn't like dgjs right after first interview and was quite reluctant to go on to second interview....can't imagine if I tell her that she is going to spend the next six years at dgjs

Do you know why your daughter dislike DGJS? I remember when I was young I attended an interview at one of the elite school, I also disliked their serious atmosphere (氣場好勁

). So I performed really bad at that interview just to make sure I won't got acceptance

. So I think your daughter is really smart as she still can perform above average at this situation.

She said during first interview the teacher marked her worksheet right in front of her and gave one of the answers a big cross. She found her rude and didn't want to follow other instructions. I explained to her that there were a few thousand of candidates so teachers needed to go things quickly but couldn't really sway her mind.

只是打英文比中文更快吧！在家我跟女兒主要用中文溝通，無可否認DG真係可以train到班女仔的英文語境，女兒有時回到家也說英文，但我卻堅持跟她說中文。

My girl has the same situation as your daughter during DGJS's 1st interview. And she was so reluctant or even refused to go to the second interview! Finally, she did go to complete the process, and she got no offer! We are happy about the result as we don't need to struggle and she can go to the one she likes!

if sscps is your first choice, try to write letters to Dr. Wei. She did read parents' letter and we are impressed and feel grateful for it. The environment is stunning! Seeing the beach everyday in the classroom! Of course, either choice is good! ;)
