小朋友唔係維多利亞幼稚園讀，所以報唔到滬江維多利亞學校小一。我問過學校只有買左債券先可以報名。我有興趣買滬江維多利亞學校個人債券，但唔知道應該去邊到買。學校個人債券已經賣哂，只係可以買公司債券。

你地有冇識人想賣個人債券？

I think the school is more like local school instead of IS. We went to its kindergarten instead of VSA. Maybe VSA is different? Very heavy homework for the age of child and the mindset is not international at all.

Yes, not IS for sure, it is a private independent school, more like local school with majority local students.

Just want to ask sincerely. Why it is so popular? What is the good thing and what is the bad? I am sending my son to their kinder soon.

VSA is not an IS according to Education Bureau's classification. As you said, it is a private independent school ("PIS"). The key difference between an IS and a PIS is the student mix. A PIS is required to admit at least 70% local students. In terms of curriculum and management of the school, however, VSA is operated as an IS. If one prefers an international curriculum with emphasis on Chinese, VSA is a choice.

My child was there for PN and K1 then left for ESF for K2. I like ESF much better which shows caring, creative, inquiry-based learning while Victoria Kindergarten just like pouring all the "paper knowledge" to children. Not recommend at all. There are some parents complaining that ESF kindergarten does not teach students knowledge, but I think for kindergarten these "knowledge" is less important than developing curiosity and other habit.
