剛去完一間中學既簡介會，得知Chem 哩科好多人揀，點解呢?
易讀? 好有用?

冇bio可以報醫，但冇 chem 報醫就蝕底
易唔易讀因人而異。易，不表示個學生可以攞高 grade

如果揀全理科，你要揀chem
如果讀理科揀2X，你會揀Phy/Chem或Chem/Bio，因為有關連（除非諗住讀PolyU物理治療要揀Phy/Bio)，
如果讀文理商揀1科理科，無讀M1/2又怕血，咁又係揀Chem

你去o個間應該係b1a學校。通常尖子多報chem。

物理治療2017entry any best 6 or 4+2 or any best 5睇唔一定要收phy bio? 不過朋友話有bio都ok
Phy 好多數要計 交難高分 如果一向數好會無咁吃力

Any Best 6 Subjects
There is no compulsory subject requirement. Preferred subjects with the highest weighting for admission score calculation include:
- Chinese;
- English;
- Biology;
- Physics; and
- Combined Science with Biology or Physics.
[size=14.014px]
Applicants should be fit within normal range in fulfilling the physical requirements of physiotherapy practice.

核心科目優選科目的權重將為1科x10, 其餘x7
Chinese;
English;
Elective科目優選科目的權重將為1科x10, 其餘x7
Biology;
Physics; and
Combined Science with Biology or Physics.
最基本要讀其中一科Phy 或 Bio
2016-17: 29.9 (Any Best 5 Subjects)

可能而家唔同。以前AL讀Chem,無讀Physics都幾大問題。學Bohr model都用番Physics嘅Quantum mechanics 同Newton law of gravitation.
數渣D都唔掂。

I am not saying you do not need math for chemistry.
Of course there are math.
I am only saying, if you really compare chemistry with physics, math is usually harder with physics.

我唔係話你話Chem唔駛Maths,我意思係以前Phy Chem一齊讀，搞得掂Phy，邊會搞唔掂Chem嘅數。

這點我同意
chem 的數，只要本科概念清，列對條式，就多數答案冇錯，數學運算水平有中三程度就夠；而且計數佔 % 不高~
phy 的數，本科概念清之外，仲要細心，因為好多 tricky 位 (例如單位換算)，否則會列錯條式。
對考生的代數、trigo 等運算技巧要求高！答案除左數值，還要個方向啱。如果有m2底，就識用捷徑做。m2 有教apply maths，訓練考生嘗試用高階數學的角度去解決一啲物理難題；人地用 15分鐘做，你識捷徑就5分鐘搞惦，答案一樣。所以 phy 依科係favour 一啲m2考生；而且 phy 計數佔的 %極高~
bio也有數計，不過數學要求比chem仲低~

我個人覺得，以往認為讀理科叻少少，傳統上學生的浪漫是入醫科，冇化學唔駛報，報都嘥氣，為了萬一，點解唔簡！
可能我的感覺 out了，我當年，最有興趣是 生物>化學>物理，成績亦一樣！化學較易掌握，但攞高分唔易，好易錯 careless mistakes. 數底要求不高，titration ，計 mole 都是有限公司，去到 Atomic , Quantum, 跟物理一樣。
生物的內容就較系統性，有板有眼，肯讀就0k，個人喜歡做實驗，劏老鼠曱甴，自己又喜歡畫圖，答題目就得心應手！
因為純理科，冇咗應用數學，物理變成輸蝕好多，當年學校物理老師師資較弱，但化學及生物就好強，亦吸引學生選讀！

化學是醫的先決條件 醫其實收生方便亦最多 每年大約六佰人 相對其它科目 穩定性及收入也有保證 band 1 中的尖子 唔揀它 其實已經自斷一臂 尤其現實社會 其餘神科都巳泛濫 入職無門 醫已經是本地生的唯一就醫保壘
