Now considering Ruthin and Lanching for 2017 lower 6th form entry for my daughter, anyone familar with these two schools can share their view?

Ruthin according to an agent is academically pushy and hence of better ranking. Lancing was used to be quite famous in the past while now turning less higher ranking. Lancing is close to London and boarding house is quite quiet during weekend

Understand they are different types of school, considering sixth form entry and aiming better preparation for A level exam, which one should be considered fitting this purpose more?

Will location and Chinese student ratio factors for your consideration? Ruthin is in the wales, the school location is a bit remote while the town nearby is very small with almost one third of students coming from mainland and Hk, the school is also small and lack of facilities though it is under development now

Yes, North Wales, a bit far from London. Since my daughter is lower 6th form entry, I hope she can focus on A level exam, so facilities may not be of high priority but the study atmosphere is.
