同意你的説法：要孩子每天唱那首由一個獨裁專制政權從1949年定下來的所謂國(or黨)歌，總是替孩子感到有點難堪，這某程度上亦是我傾向選擇真正IS的原因！

有宗教背景的學校每天唸經，每天教愛主，每天有宗教課就無問題？教學不忘傳道便無問題？唱國歌教中華山河便有問題？雙重標準得好利害。小女幼稚園開始8年宗教課唸經，完全沒有入教意思。

孩子沒有你們想像中那麼容易任人擺佈。

其實想了解學校的教學模式，不如直接向學校查詢，得到的資訊會較為凖確，既然唔想有政治背景或取向的學校，不如選擇其他國際學校，反正都有很多選擇，但有否足夠學位及經濟能力又是另一考慮因素。

教小朋友愛國、唱國歌，為自己作為中國人而自豪，對我來說，係正面的事情。

如果家長好抗拒，可能選一些IS如AIS，FIS，Australian IS等等，會更適合。

我答你：只有唱英文和國語兒歌，中文程度比我想像中好，個人覺得係一間唔錯的學校。

Do not want to get into any wars, but really disgusted by your post! If your son/daughter goes to SIS or CNDIS you will be far more happy to let your kid sing Singapore / Canada national anthem. And then we won't be even looking at this disgusting post here!

You need to find a way to immigrate to another country rather than keep your kid here to worry sing country's national anthem or dress traditional clothes or eat Chinese food !

BUT why didn't you think ahead to marry a western man???who can give your kid a foreign passport! Or get one for yourself even! to avoid all the hassles you are having right now???

I can think of many innocent reasons why someone may not want his/her child to be taught China's national anthem and national education.

The poster asked a simple question, whether a particular school teach that, and a simple "Yes" or "No" answer would suffice, but instead we have so many irrelevant people giving irrelevant "advises".

If her kid is a Canadian and goes to SIS where all kids need to sing Singapore national anthem, I can fully understand her concern. However, after she mentioned brainwashing for singing own country anthem... she needs to think big! To leave here for better

So? There are many foreigners stepping on this same piece of land, your domestic helper for instance.

This is to clear up the misunderstanding.
The example of the domestic helper is to illustrate there are many foreigners living in HK. Besides them there are those who are assigned to work in HK for a few years and so brought their family along with them and thus need to put their children in schools here.

You might think if you're stepping on a certain country's soil for whatever reason then you're obliged to learn that country's anthem and national education, but there are many exceptions so we shouldn't pass judgement on why some people don't want it.

其實出這類post, 就有好大機會引起激烈討論或爭辯，如果真的是簡單如yes or no的答案，與其出post等回覆，不如直接向學校查詢，會得到更直接及準確的答案。
簡單答一句：國際班小學及幼稚園部均沒有要求唱國歌，老師教導孩子比較著重國際視野，而非偏向單一地區。
孩子仍在小學部，中學部情況不能代答。

英文每星期有一本reading帶回家看同要小朋友講感受寫係本library book 到（當然是家長幫手寫），平日就會有worksheet帶回家，我兩個女返學好開心，佢地英文程度都好明顯進步好多，特別係講
