I see somewhere in its site that admission score is based on any best subjects, but i cannot locate where is it now.
According to MingPao, its expression is in form of best five subjects but actual score based on 4+1.

我估是時間差，最佳5科是2017(未來式)，4C＋X 成績是2016的(過去式）！

其實我都唔係好明, 即係2017年係睇, BEST 5 ,
中, 英, 數, 通. (必定). + 1 科, 咁就係BEST 5 ,

如果分數, 係, 中 - 3 , 英 - 3, 數 - 4, 通 - 2, + 一科選修科, 4. 咁TOTAL : 加埋都係得, 16分, 咁就一定入唔到 U 啦.

係咪咁意思呢?

2017 年教大是以Best5計分的！ Best5的計算是不考慮是否主科 (即中、芵、數、通識)，只計所考取最高分的5科。 4C十1是基本報考資格，即滿足33222的報讀要求。

明白晒, THANKS!

即係話, 舉例: DSE 出來的成績, ..
中 4, 英2, 通4, 數 5, CHEM 4 , BIO 4, 雖然加埋有23分, 但係因為達不到3322 的要求, 都入唔到U.

正確嗎?

對，達不到33222，入唔到U。但你所提供的DSE成績，Best5應該是21!

email to edu u and ask the same question. The answer is: any best five subjects in calculating admission score for DSE.

請問其他U是否都係由2017年開始採用Best 5計分？

其他U的計分方法不一定Best 5, 可以說 "花多眼亂". 就算同一間U不同學系, 不同科目, 都有明顯的不同. 目前我能找到最豐富資料, 是學友社的" 中六升學指南 2016".
