We had the interview last year, we arrived like 15 mins earlier, and they let us joined the earlier session, very flexible, firstly, kids played at the playground and waiting for the teachers to call ur kid's name. Then entered to a room with other 8-10 kids (with one parent), just played the toys on the tables freely (i think to see if your kids is a little inquirer and interaction with the parent) and teachers will do marking on a sheet, then called kid's name one by one and went to another room for individual interview, asked some simple questions, what's ur name and the name of some objects (like ball, car), did some matching and rolled the car/ball to the kid and see if they can catch the ball, asked parents a few simple questions, where u heard our school, who take care of the kid normally, what's their personality. the whole process i think was lasted around 30 minutes and pretty relaxing!!

my girl did most of the tasks but didn't say anything except bye and pushed back the chair at the end. Got offer.

Which branch did you have the interview? I wonder if all branches have the same interview process. Anyway, thx for your sharing.

is your girl big or small b? my b is small b and is just around 1 year old when interview...i am quite sure he couldn't do all of the tasks you mentioned.......

it is always nice to have both daddy and mommy going together, but i think it's still ok for just one parent attend =) as only one parent is allow to the interview room, the other parent can visit diff classes to see their textbooks and learning material, but please note that from the time u walk from the school door already start marking...... (as they will communicate with the teachers inside the school)

big b, even my gal was around 20 months still didn't talk much... i think they will focus on their eye contacts and interaction with teacher and parents rather than how many tasks they can do, as long as showing that they are listening and doing sth , i think teachers should be ok with that, i am quite sure most of the kids cannot do everything at that age (during pn interview period).

My daughter will have an interview in early of November. May I know if the whole process of your interview was communicated in English? We usually communicate with each other in Cantonese, so will it be lower opportunity to get an offer?

以我印象中好似玩下玩具, 父/母答老師問題 (EG. 點解揀我地學校)
整個過程好輕鬆, 唔使擔心.
THINK 大細B都會收, (就算11月, 12月出世都有機會收) 唔使擔心是否細B等問題

i forgot but similar to Ming Wai.... around end of Nov, around 3 weeks after the interview...?

You can say sth like (for THINK):

1. small class (lesser kids per class) in THINK
2. first year is conducted in Cantonese, so their language foundation will be good
3. you agree with their education mission and vision, believe that will train up your kids to be a whole person
4. kids can learn from their project/theme base education
5. their learning materials (cos you can have a look of each classroom on the interview day as well, some of their learning materials are made by themselves..... etc....
6. have primary back up, later will have sendonary la.... so education will be consistent for your kid

etcetc........

basically you can say sth related to what they have put in their website, and most of the schools saying similar things in their website......

the above points are just my own opinion only.....

actually u will know how to answer those questions after few interviews....... but most importantly, you read their website and to see if you agree with their education method and mission...... all the best la!!
