如果現在已來不及在2017年9月入讀Year10, 在第二個Term, 插班會好困難嗎？請指教, 謝謝。

Y10 and Y11 are the GCSE years whereby the students will study the GCSE syllabus throughout these 2 years for taking the GCSE exam at the end of Y11. Schools will generally not prefer to take in new students in the middle of these 2 years.

In fact, you can still find schools for Sep 2017 intake now, though some of the most sought-after schools may have already closed their registration book. It will be easier to find a school now to take your child for Sep 2017 than for taking him/her in the middle of the school year for Y10.

其實都有學校收插班生，不個多數都是排名不高，現在辦理，最快可以11月尾過去。

呢個月好多學校代表喺香港，如果見啱好快走得。
我10月初問過3間大agent，都話冇得搞，後來朋友介紹間細D嘅，竭力幫忙，2週半內搞掂（唔係名校），而家準備11月初出發。
Year 10 開始 GCSE 課程，要揀科，又要追番冇學嗰D，決定去就要快，或者考慮明年9月讀1年制GCSE。

其實都應該趕到明年九月入學喎！當然唔係名校啦！但都好多選擇，你最好問多幾間agent，四阿哥話齋：貨比三家嘛！如果唔夠，四家、五家、六家都無妨！定D黎！

係喎，樓主話「在2017年9月入讀Year10」，而家開始仲有大把時間，我只留意佢話要Term 2 插班(emoji)

謝謝回覆。在剛剛過去的星期六，去British Council 舉辦的展覽，感覺到已經錯過了最好的時機入明年的Year 10。
會留意大學，希望不會再錯過。

Rather high risk for Year 10 as a totally new environment and also needs to prepare for GCSE. All are new for us.
So, I'm thinking about is it a good timing to study Year 10 in Sep 2017 as not prepare well. Though my son seems eager to go

GCSE 內容對香港學生而言基本上都不難，今年九月有好幾位朋友的孩子去讀 year10, 前後幾星期便已適應及追番 year 9 的内容
