如果1st chocie, 2nd choice or 3rd choice 的科目的性質上有很大分別,例如揀了醫療, 工程和會計科目, 咁份personal statement點寫好？如果寫得太散,是否會給大學一個壞印象,反而會沒有機會?

I am of the view that personal statement is one of the important factors taken into account in case of NJ application. It is especially important if the course applied for requires an interview.

For CUHK, you can have PS with two different choices (my experience), focus more in medicine and explain the rationale for second choice also influential. You may have interviews for all choices simultaneously, and your first choice has priority if you meet the conditional offers, if not will go for second or third choice. Interviewers of different programs will ask the reason why you have two diversified choices.

If you go for medicine as first choice in HKU, forget about second and third choice, waste of time. Because, they seldom drop your application and never say no, no chance for second or third choices interviews.
