如果 firm choice 遲遲都唔答覆，咁 insurance choice 是否會被取消？重有firm choice有無時限答覆？

我們是apply U 取得offer 後，再在UCAS 排firm choice & insurance choice, 你選的U是否取不到offer, 那就不可排firm choice。

等UCAS出之前，還是之後呢？

仲有，如果達唔到requirement, 咁要UCAS clearing.
麻煩嗎？
還是找agent方便？

聽聞試過有未達condition的，在UCAS是大學都有機會收。
要firm choice reject之後至到insurance choice考慮的
看來，現階段都係第UCAS派彩至知

請問是用那個成績申請ucas? 我囡囡上年是用A level 的, 8月中ucas 是會自動出結果, 另外, 如巳有Ielts 成績, 可以現在email 給firm choice 及 insurance choice 的聯絡人, 不用等8月中

I assume your result has met the Insurance offer condition, but not the firm offer. As long as the firm choice did not officially rejected you in your UCAS, the insurance choice could not accept you. But if you continue to wait for the reply from firm choice for too long, the insurance choice has the right to reject your offer anytime.

Why they want to wait until mid Aug is because they want to wait the A-Level result, that mean your result is not something marginally missed the firm condition. So if you decide to wait until mid-Aug, you may lose your insurance offer, and at the same time your firm choice reject you finally. If you also like your insurance choice, then better ask your firm choice to officially reject you in UCAS, so your insurance can accept you.

That up to you how confidence and how much you like your firm choice.

insurance offer 唔係要等待 firm offer reject，然後考慮是否出 offer，如果達到佢哋嘅要求，佢哋不是一定要俾offer？所以我唔係幾明UACS嘅運作

In simple answer, yes. If you meet ALL the condition of the firm offer, the firm choice university MUST accept you. But in the above case, if the firm offer decision was pending (because the student marginally missed the firm offer) for too long, there may be a risk that the insurance choice could reject your offer eventually.

呀囝上星期五已send 成績比學校,他是meet offer的, 依家是等UCAS firm choice 給 unconditional offer 還是學校直接send email 通知 ?

如你仍喜歡firm choice那間, 試下直接聯絡學校。有case係如成績屬marginal, 學校都會比offer

如firm choice收的機會好微, 但insurance offer已meet condition, 那可直接聯絡firm choice學校, 請佢地在ucas改成unsucessful, 那insurance offer就會成為firm choice

我想請教如果我巳經經UCAS sent 了成績去,但 firm choice 還未 reject 我,但 insurance choice 催我要先申請宿舍, 我是否要那麼快就申請宿舍,其實我還在等8/8 的聯招結果,我驚申請宿舍要給費用.希望妳能解答,謝謝!

Usually, you need to confirm (accept) the insurance offer before you can go ahead to apply for their student hall. In such case, you need to give up the opportunity of your original firm choice before you accept the insurance offer. So check carefully with the student hall application on their website to see if they need you to confirm their offer first.

The sooner you apply for student hall, the better chance to get one. Usually they don't need to take any deposit to secure the place. That means you still can give up (withdraw) your hall (and university) place if you finally decide to stay in HK after 8/8 Jupas result.
